Mike and Nicholas are wrong

Before Jesus came to the world, ALL human beings from ALL religions went to either hell -if they were wicked- or purgatory -if they were good- (Moses, Abraham and so on went to purgatory of course).

Only after Jesus came, the gates of heaven opened for the entire mankind and now all good people can enter heaven including the good jews and buddhists and muslims. This also means that all evil jews and muslims and christians go straight to hell (yes, for your satisfaction there are the evil catholic crusaders and the evil catholic members of the Inquisition).

How could evil christians go to heaven while good jews go to hell???? Did the christian nazis went to heaven while the people in the concentration camps to hell?.

That's nonsense and the most important thing is that it is not true.

Seems to me that everyone in here forgot about Jesus's commandment:

"The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:31).

This means if a muslim does evil to other muslim he shall go to hell because he's being evil to Christ Himself, and guess what, this is perfectly consistent with the words Jesus will pronounce the day of the Universal Judgement (Matt 25:41-46).

John 14:6

"I am the way, the truth and the life. NOONE comes to the Father but through me."

You also forgot the number one commandment:

Mark 12

29 "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' 31 The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."

And in Matthews account of these words, we find why these two LAws are so important:

Matthew 22

40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.

Yes, as evil as it sounds to you, good people that don't accept Christ as their personal Lord ans Savior WILL in fact, go to hell. While those that have faith in God and have been clothed with the righteousness of His Son, Jesus the Christ, will be brought into heaven.

Just for curiosity, where do you get that everyone will go to heaven that is good? Where is it in Scripture that we can earn heaven by our good works?

Shad,

My appology for thinking you were an adult. I'll dumb it down next time we speak. I also wish you were speaking to my face. It might bring back your manners.

What kind of comment is this? The last part of it almost sounds like a threat, and that surely isn't acting in love, now is it?

hmmm,

the last time I read the Bible, only those that Jesus knows, will enter into the Kingdom.......

it dont matter if they are good people or bad people, if the Lord does not recognize them, and if they have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they are doomed, no if's, and's or butt's about it.... for there is only one way to the Father, and that is thru the Son....

not ones works, not ones deeds, not ones words.... only thru Jesus will they enter the Kingdom, all others will be cast out into the darkness where there is the gnashing of teeth..... any ways, that is what the Bible says....

there are Jews that are born again, they are also known as Jews for Jesus, and other things, there may be muslims that are converted, but a practicing muslim, is not a believer in Jesus, nor is a budist..... nor is one that believes in crom, or thor, zues..... the egyptians were lost due to their non-belief in God, their non-acceptance... what makes you think that God wants some one that does not want Him?????? the Bible does not teach that God will allow all/everyone into heaven just cause they are "good " people....... besides.... who are you calling good???

Jesus even asked that question then replyed, that there is none good save the Father......

wow,

that means there is no such thing as a good person.... so with out being able to be a good person.... for there is none good but the Father.... then that means there has to be another way to arrive in Heaven.... which is only thru the Lord Jesus Christ......

thats it,

the only way

there is no other way then thru Jesus.....

""""Just for curiosity, where do you get that everyone will go to heaven that is good? Where is it in Scripture that we can earn heaven by our good works?""""

I would venture to say they got that from one place,

" Every Knee SHall Bow, and Every Tongue Confess ....."

that verse is correct, 100 %, but miss interpretted, for I know of some that preach this ( I believe they are called universalism, or the church of universal, or the universal church , or something like that. ), that satan will not receive any, will not win any souls, they use this one verse. and it is incorrect if taken that way.......

there are two judgements, and one of the judgements will be for the non-believer to receive their just rewards.......... HELL !!!...... they will be bowing, and confessing ( begging for mercy ) but it will be two late....

those that are left, will be bowing and confessing that Jesus is Lord, in Praise and Worship as they are receiving their just rewards, the treasures which they have stored up in Heaven......

a non-believer is a non-believer..... that is all there is to it.....

those that are believers but are not ready, will be left behind also.... just as the foolish maidens, the ones which put off getting more oil, they were not ready, and what was told them when the wedding party began?.... and those that were in the wedding party, but had soiled garments? they also were not ready... what was done with them??? how about the servant that was given one talent, and when the master returned, the servant had burried the one talent? it was not only taken from him, but he was put to death..... as were others that did the same.... wow..... these are examples of those that believe but were not following or ready...... there are many many many more examples, even ofthose that dont believe but yet are "good " people in mans eyes.....

something to think about too.... what we consider wise, God sees as foolish,

something else also,

what we see as wealth, God uses for building materials....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
