Maori is the native tounge of the Maori people in NZ (just as africaans (sp) is the native tounge of South Africa) I concider myself a Maori with bits of this and bits of that thrown in for good measure lol...

I dont speak it realy fluently I wish I could but I can read it fluently and understand most of it through being talked to by my dear old gran. I think it's a pretty language too
