And those are economically proven facts historically. Why can't that be included in the debate? Because it is framed emotionally as if disagreeing with that failed policy is akin to bigotry or hatred.

Baloney.

Let's see the economic data that shows a correlation between past minimum wage increases over the last 75 years, and an increase in the core inflation rate, or an increase in the unemployment rate. I will give a hint; such a correlation does not exist.

Do you think that fighting Hitler was a "good" thing? How many brave Americans lost their life doing that?

Hint: More on the first day than we've lost in years of Iraq.

How many idiots thought he would go away if we stuck our heads in the sand?

Many on this site have sons in the war (including me) or have served in the military themselves. These soldiers consistantly give a different picture than the liberal media or Democrats paint.

Fox news (the only conservative television outlet) gives their story a place to be heard.

Too bad the libs don't like it. They should take it up with their leaders who ALL voted for it.

You are only proving my point. There is hardly a retired general or intelligence official that does not believe that our going into Iraq was a massive strategic blunder in the war on terrorism. What have we gained from the war? You are accusing liberals of being emotional on foreign policy and going by your posts, your entire worldview as it relates to foreign policy is based in a fundamentalist interpretation of biblical prophecy.

Where does it end when Pandora's box is opened? If you can explain that with historical evidence, we'll listen. Unfortunately for you, history tells a different story

Where is this history? Let's see a correlation between Civil Unions, and Same Sex Marriages an increase on the divorce rate, an increase in the teen pregnancy rate, or other societal problems. Let me give you a hint, of the top ten states with the lowest divorce rates, 9 of them are blue states.

Only the liberals seemed to be afraid of Jesus in the public square. We can have gross immorality and gay parades but, oh not, not that meek & mild Jesus baby!!!

You obviously do not get the principle behind a separation of church and state. Basically it means that the state cannot be used as a vehicle to promote, endorse, or compel anyone to adhere to a religious belief.

Secondly, you obviously don't get the basic premise that virtually all our laws are based in. Basically, it is the following; you have the right to live your life the way you choose to live your life so far as your actions do not impede another individual

Liberals and conservatives are not going to agree so there is no point in debating this. However, it is absurd to think that liberal arguments are all based in emotion, and conservative ones in logic. Many times it is the exact opposite that is true. Neither side has a monopoly on intelligence or morality.

Sorry forrest but this bothers me;

"What have we gained from the war? "

It's not so much about US as it is about THEM.

What have they gained?

Freedom to worship.

Freedom to be educated.

Freedom from mass murders.

Freedom from a brutal dictator.

Freedom to decide for themselves what they want for their lives.

Freedom from oppression.

Freedom of speech.

Freedom to assemble.

Why is it you cant see the good being done?

The annualized murder rate in Iraq is 3 times higher today than it was even under Saddam. Iraqis live under the shadow of a bloody civil war; they live in constant fear of sectarian violence and murder squads. As President Eisenhower stated nearly 60 years ago, "War never solved anything". I would think he would know. War can be a resolution as it can be a resolution of a conflict that a nation is forced into, but it is never a solution that a nation should simply opt for. The war in Iraq is an elective war fought for ideological reasons, and we are seeing the fruits with a thousand Iraqis dying a week now as a result of it.

Have you ever noticed, lefties are so bitter and angry, even when they are Christians. We should pray for them, Beloved. I wonder if a devout, brave, Christian man should care about what the world thinks of the fact that he has only one leg.

''The airways is where people should be able to get information and opposing views on the issues so they can weigh them both and then decide what they really think themselves''

when have people ever had a wider variety of news in history?

What we have is the best solution in an imperfect world.

Making stations (and therefore their audience) support views they clearly oppose is anything but fair...it is fascism.

Liberals don't understand the free-market of Capitalism...or they would not seek socialist policies from the asheaps of history..

The real problem they have with Rush is that he represents their failure to indoctrinate America any longer. They arrogantly assume we're morons when it is them who has only considered one ''side'' and can't imagine there is anything elsed out there an intelligent person would consider. Yet they have been losing the ideological war since talk radio allowed average Americans to communicate with each other.

We aren't mind numb robots! We are people that got tired of propoganda spewing from the TV.

I found out that liberals are good complainers with a constant drip of whining yet never offering even one long term SOLUTIO

Translated, don't believe the news that is reported in every mainstream news outlet on earth, believe the propoganda instead. It does not matter whether one watches CNN, NBC, or Fox News, no one is reporting that things are going well in Iraq.

Lets see an example of liberal anger and bitterness on here since you are throwing out the accusation.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
