...in the case about the 2 border patrol agents that were sent to prison for 11 and 12 years, for just doing their jobs, and one of them was severly beaten in prison? The Homeland Security Dept. lied to Congress, telling it they had affidavits when they didn't. The President is taking his time pardoning them, and even Tony Snow, whom I admire very much, is hem hawing around.

Yet Sandy Burglar gets a slap on the wrist and gets his security clearance back in 2 years, after stealing documents on 9/11 at Bill Clinton's request. Can you imagine if a Republican did this???? They were talking about this on the radio this morning.

And last night on the news it said that the prison said the agent had "minor bruises", after a whole gang of illegal immigrants beat him.

Forgive me for not being to up to snuff on American politics, but if Bill Clinton ordered a theft of some document, why isn't he is jail? Now I think I just might smell a rat...

What has happened to these men is horrible and unjustified. They were doing their job...they should not be punished for doing what they swore to do. If the government doesn't like what these men did, then they should change the law...not throw them in jail.

Because Bill CLinton is simply one of those special people who will never have to account for anything he ever does in court. He'll never get convicted of anything. :)

The Border Agents who were railroaded into prison were simply a product of our Government failing at it's most basic level. It was by design that these people are in jail. Things were hidden, things were covered up, and things were mishandled on purpose for the sole intention of putting these two in jail.

I wouldn't blame the rest of the Border Patrol Agents if they staged a walk off from the job until these two falsely convicted agents were out of prison, back at their old jobs, and paid a hefty compensation package for false imprisonment.

Because Bill CLinton is simply one of those special people who will never have to account for anything he ever does in court. He'll never get convicted of anything. :)

First...I am squarely in the corner of these two agents...and i hope for their release.

However, they broke some rules. They did some things that night that they "admittedly" should not have done. Every law officer in this country knows you don't shoot someone in the back, unless you can identify them as a threat. Thats basics. The officer says he thought he saw a weapon...and thats fine, but WHY, WHY, WHY would he pick up his shell casings (again basic scene preservation), and then he didn't report the shooting. How does he not report a weapon discharge?

I don't think he deserves 11-12 years in prison. But even he knows he screwed up.

Great points, but at this point, I don't know what to believe about any reports of that night. It's going to be interesting how this one pans out.

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
