This isn't spam or anything, so please just give it a read-through.

My name is Christopher Anthony, I'm eighteen and I live with my parents and I'm posting this because my family and I need help.

For about 8 years now, my dad has been disabled. He has Multiple Sclerosis disease, and can't work. My mom is a contract mail-carrier for the U.S.P.S. Which means that she delivers mail like all the normal U.S.P.S. workers, but without any of the benefits. Myself, I'm looking for a job, but they are hard to find in our area.

We live in a very rural area and around summer of this year, our well started going bad. It took two different well-specialists to finally decide that the pipe that goes down into the ground had gone bad, and needed to be replaced. The only problem with this is that the well was put in before our home, and then they built the house over it. So we can't pull up the pipes and replace them, which means we have to have an entirely new well put in.

Right now, the well is so bad we can't take a shower, and it takes about 4 hours to fill a bath. If the toilet gets flushed, it takes about half-an-hour before we have any more water pressure in the house.

My mom worries if she will have enough money for gas to get to work in the morning, and even more-so if our van will get her there. It's been having problems and we can't afford to get it fixed.

What I'm asking for is help for my parents and I. This year, money is tighter than it has ever been and I don't know what we are going to do after this Christmas. If anyone who reads this can help us out in any way, it would be appreciated.

If you can help, please send an e-mail to endsdawn@m33access.com and if you know anyone who can help, please send them here.

God bless you all.

Christopher Anthony

Blessing Christopher

I am truly sorry to hear of your families demise.

I myself have no means in which to help you financially right now, but I can pray for you and your family, and that I promise to do. God can work through prayer and 'move the mountains'

Love & Blessings

Sorry, man, but I'm afraid I can't help you out in the way you are seeking it as well, but sometimes prayer is the greatest thing someone can do for somebody. It doesn't seem like a lot at times, but prayer does change things.

I hope you do not find too much stress about the Christmas season as well. You may not have as much as you usually have under the tree, but that's not what Christmas is all about anyway.

I understand its hard going through the holidays when you can feel really down in the dumps and all, but just remember what the true reasons for the holidays are, and you'll feel a lot better.

You have a place to cover you from the cold, and most of all, you still have your family to share the holidays with. The love of a family is worth more than any weight in gold. Believe me, I know.

"We have been made to endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Goodness knows we wonder when that morning sunrise will shine through for us, but while we wait, we should wait for it patiently and be thankful for the things we do have.

I know it's a hard thing to do when you have those negative thoughts on your mind so much, but that's when you need to start practicing self-control in your thoughts. Self contol is that last Fruit of the Spirit and it can get over looked at times. Nows the time to think about the things you have not lost, and continue to have hope and faith in the Lord, kapeesh?

You have my prayers for you and your family. Peace and blessings

I agree with all about the power of prayer.

Also, go to your local church and let them know the need. They can help pray and they might also be able to help in some other way.

I saw a point in time that I wasn't even sure how I was going to make the house payment. I simply prayed to play catch-up to current and take it from there on faith. However, God had other plans-He allowed us to pay it off free and clear! God can work wonders, so keep on praying!

this reply has a couple different sections:

The only problem with this is that the well was put in before our home, and then they built the house over it. So we can't pull up the pipes and replace them, which means we have to have an entirely new well put in.

how much space is between the floor of the house and above the well?

if there is even two or three feet, you can pull the old well piping out, and replace it..... if the old piping is metal, it will have to be raised, secured, and cut, then raised secured and cut again, until the pump is out of the ground..... the more space you have above the well head the better.....

if there is a utility room above the well head, you may wish to "install" an access hole ( cut out some floor boards ) to gain access to the well head and thus you will also have more space above the well head to remove the piping..... these are a less expensive route to go then having a new well dug/bored.....

when replacing the old piping, use flexible plastic line, it is less expensive then metal, it also able to roll up, so that if you have to replace the pump again, you pull up a rope that is secured to the pump and the piping comes right up with it, and you can coil it up while replacing the pump.... a much simpler task then....

as far as the flooring in the room where the well head is located, cut between the floor joist.... not thru them... and then when you are done, secure a scab on to the current floor joist, and even one on either side of the hole so that you can lay down a single piec of wood over it for the subfloor and then the regular flooring on it, and can be secured with screws or nails..... ( i prefer to use screws, cause some day, especially in this case, you will need to gain access again..... )

***************************

Financial help can be received thru your church, if they do not have the means, then your pastor and or deacons and or elders should be able to lead you to the right source.......

our local churches should be where we place our assistance, and gain our assistance, not thru the government, or thru organizations that are scattered thru out the world....... we have gotten away from helping others thru our own church body......

something that i have found to work well, is to help others... yes, even when a person is destitute, they still have the means to be of service...... this is the best time to help others.... you may not be able to give a penny, but you can still be of service to others, expecially those not as well off as yourself.....

***************************

by the way, no matter what we have in our lives, God uses it all for His Glory...... if a person gives up, then they do not grow stronger in the Lord, they must press on....

what would have happened if Peter gave up after the first time he bungled up? or the second time? or the third or the fifth, or the tenth????? or the............

yes, even after Peter totally rejected the idea of being with Jesus, told every one that he did not even know this man, that just a few hours earlier was willing to give all he had to save this man, was ready to do battle with and for this man Jesus, he denied even knowing who this man was....................... if Peter gave up then what would have happened to the church? as it was, ALL the Deciples ( save for Judas ) ran, but they did not give up, they returned to what they were taught..... Judas gave up.... because the other 11 moped around for a bit, they did come back together.... and look what they accomplished thru the Lord God...... look at the blessings that came over them...... the ones that waited with patience, received the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.... due to the blessings that were bestowed upon them, John had many attempts on his life, they could not kill him, even boiling him in oil..... the worst they could do to him was banish him, exile him to an island, where he continued to do the Lords work......

*****************************

being a Christian, is much like being a student in school...

in school we are segregated by grade levels....

we start out in Kindergarten, and if we pass a certain level of proficiancy, we graduate to the first grade, but, if we do not meet certain criteria, we are held back......

we are given the information from the teacher, then we are given examples, to work with the teacher, then we are given work to do on our own with the teachers help if needed, and then we get the dreaded test, where the teacher stands back and lets us do it on our own with out assistance....... if we do good, we get promoted, if we do not do so well, we have to go thru this lesson again.... until we do well enough to pass......

if we fail to overcome the problem we are destined to continue having the same problem, have you ever seen some one that is always having the same problem, cant ever seem to get past it???? yea, they gave up, or avoided it, or did not learn the lesson from it and thus will continue to repeat the same section of life.......

when i was in the 4th grade, in the math book on page 18 there were 40 math problems.. 10 addition, 10 subtraction, 10 multiplication, and 10 division problems, they had to be completed with in 4 minutes error free before one could move on to page 19....... if there was an error, or if one could not complete them in 4 minutes, then that person had to go back to page 1 and start over.....

if every time we come across a problem in life and we fail at it, every time, or just give up, then we will not mature in our walk with the Lord.... each obsticle we have in front of us, that we over come, makes us stronger in the Lord..... and helps prepare us for the task that the Lord has set aside for us...... if we are not prepared, then we will not be able to handl what He has for us, and He will not let us have that next blessing....it will be held until we are prepared to handle it.....

****************************

you have been blessed, and if you fail to see more blessings come your way, then you might look at your walk with the Lord, for if you have hit a plateau, and have stopped climbing, you are giving up many blessings that are waiting for you further up the hill......

no one said it would be easy to be a follower of Christ....

but that dont mean we have to give up.....

what if Job had given up??? did he ask people for help???

no

did Job go to his friends for assistance when he had totally lost everything except his wife???? and she was telling Job to curse God and die....

NO>>>>

Job turned to the only one he knew would be able to help....... Job turned to the Lord God.......finished morning over his loss, and regrouped and pressed onward, and became even more strong in the Lord...... and received even greater blessings.....

my advise is to tighten the belt a notch or two ( we all know that we all can afford to do that for a while ).... and start wearing out the knees in your jeans....

TURN EVERYTHING OVER TO THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY....

WHEN YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE BUT GOD, IT IS PAST TIME TO TURN TO GOD...... AND GOD ALONE CAN HELP YOU.

How would you pull the pipe though? If it's a deep well, it might be difficult without machinery. What would you suggest then? What about a winch or something, would that work?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
