Find me one post in this thread where I even mentioned a "second" baptism with the Holy Ghost.

Shalom E-gal.

Every ONE of your posts because you refuse to accept the Scriptural truth that we are filled with (baptized with) the Holy Spirit when we are born-again. You preach another baptism is necessary. You then negate what Jesus did on the Cross, and preach a false gospel that something else is needed to make us complete in Jesus. That's not Scripture and in fact, it is a false teaching.

We are instructed to rebuke and ignore false teachers who preach anything other than being born-again and complete in Jesus by His work on the Cross.

Again, those disciples (taught ones) were not believers because if they had been, they would have been baptized the 1st time in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Thats why Paul questioned them into what then were you Baptised? In other words, who do you follow? John or Jesus.

Sheesh, how hard is this to understand?

So then Paul tells them that John did baptise unto repentence and also tells them about Jesus whom John taught but Apollos left out of his teaching.

So then they were baptised for the remission of sins unto Jesus and were born again and recieved the Holy Spirit.

Sheesh folks, Jim Jones had his own "disciples" too. Do you think they were true believers in Jesus or in Jim Jones?

EphesiansGal, those who have been born again have recieved the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. And if you read scriptures, some NOT all will speak in tongues, some NOT all will have the gift of knowledge, some NOT all will have the gifts.

I find your use of "shalom" rather indecent, considering your intent.

Shalom E-Gal,

I guess you have a problem then. Since you are not the Holy Spirit, you cannot know my intent. Saying you do is a lie.

If you were on my group I would have thrown you off it by now, lol.

And this means what? How immature. I really don't care that you are all puffed up and upset because you are challenged to prove your false teaching my Scripture and you can't. You are the one telling people that Jesus' sacrifice isn't enough for them! Shame on you! I pray everyone recognizes this as a false teaching. We are to rebuke a false teacher and reject their teaching.

What do you say to the millions of people who are born again but who have not yet received the baptism with the Holy Spirit? Do you tell them they are therefore not saved?

OMGOODNESS! This is too funny!:whistling::whistling:

Girl, you've finally lost it.

Your question is based on your lack of understanding of the Scriptures. You cannot be born-again without being filled with the Holy Spirit. The Triune G-d is, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We are indwelt and baptized in the Holy Spirit when we accept Jesus atoning work for us.

I hope you are taking notes because this is important:

I am the one who says that when a person is born-again (saved) by grace through faith through the sacrificial work of Jesus, that they ARE SAVED and filled with the Holy Spirit, because that is what the Scriptures say, clearly, plainly and you cannot argue with that.

You are the one who is preaching that "something else" is needed. You are the one preaching that Jesus' sacrifice isn't enough. THAT is heresy.

One last time.

Shalom E-Gal,

I sure hope it IS the last time, because it's a lie.

I challenge you to prove it by Scripture. It's not there.

When someone accepts Jesus as their L-rd and Savior, and they are born-again, they are indwelt and BAPTIZED in the Holy Spirit. There is nothing else needed. We have all the power we need, if we will walk in it.

To continually say that being born-again by faith in Jesus is INCOMPLETE is heresy! It is a lie from the pit.

As far as tongues go, it is a gift from G-d, some receive it some don't. It does not mean they are any less Christian or less saved or less of anything!

At some time after this, maybe minutes or days or weeks or years, you can receive THE baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is a definite and powerful experience you can remember and relate, and it is a personal experience, you and the Lord.

This is a man made false doctrine that began with the charismatic, Word of Faith movement, and is totally unscriptural, and a lie.

I really think it is terrible to teach that converts have received everything there is to receive at their conversion. No wonder so many Christians struggle and get so bored in church and lukewarm. There is SO MUCH that the Lord wants to give us.

If you were taught from the Word of God, instead of man made false doctrines, this problem would not be among believers.

Too many charismatics and the WOF movement(Word of Faith Movement) are making their own false doctrines, selling books, making lots of money, looking for some kind of emotional high, feel good Christianity, deceiving the masses. Believers are "annointed" to do God's will the minute they believe as the Scriptures say, and another "baptism in the Holy Spirit" at "another time" is not even considered in the Scriptures, as you are trying to push here.

Shalom Toni,

You are correct. We must expose these false doctrines in light of the Scriptures. What a terrible thing to tell people that being born-again is incomplete and Jesus didn't do it all for us on Calvary!

Talk about legalism, either you agree with me, or your immature. Just as many if not more believers disagree with "2nd baptism" idea you are promoting here.

The immaturity is discovered in speech that expresses that one is FILLED at salvation. We are indwelt, but not FILLED. It is in the baptism of the Holy Spirit that we become immersed in Him and full to overflowing with His empowerment. It is then that true maturity in Christ can be accomplished.

Even the Spirit of reality, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him; but you know Him, because He abides with you and shall be in you." (john 14:17)

All believers are filled with the Spirit the moment they believe into the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. To be indwelt with the Spirit is to be filled with the Spirit. One cannot pour water in to a vessel and say that it has not been filled.

The Holy Spirit lives in the person who becomes saved, but it is a measure of His presence at that point. A believer needs to consecrate himself and receive the full measure! Filled! Overflowing!

Continue to be filled, not once, not twice, but ever and ever until you meet Him face to face!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
