Lamb's Book of Life

I've seen some interesting shows on TV the last few months about Heaven....especially one on a Barbara Walters special a few weeks back......what really bothered me was not one individual mentioned the Lambs Book of Life including Christian Ministers or Preachers...after viewing these shows, I get this sense that everybody thinks they are going to heaven...with or without Jesus and his way...and I use to fall for that trap....it is a very dangerous trap...and after viewing these shows it is getting worse and worse....

What is the real tragedy? Was it 911....Trina the hurricane.....or all the other worldly tragedies we have seen or faced....

The real tragedy....is...all those people who were not ready to die....who took their salvation and gift of eternal life from Almighty God thru his Son Jesus Christ for granted...and they thought they had one more day to get right with the Lord...and they failed to get their names written in the Lamb's Book of Life or decided it wasnt worth living a life pleasing to Almighty God and they got their name blotted out or that Jesus was nothing but a fairytale.....I get the feeling after these tragedies because they are devastating tragedies that people believe everybody that dies in a tragedy goes to heaven...God assures us only those who name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life will see Heaven...

911 was an event that had religous implications. Psalm 139 is a comfort to

my spirit and hope all.

Ps 139 1:10

O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsittiing

and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my

path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is

not a word in my tongue, but lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. Thou

hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such

knowledge is to wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. Whither

shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I

ascend up into heaven, thou art with me: if I make my bed in hell, behold

thou art there. If I take the winds of the morining, and dwell in the uttermost

parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me.

A prayer for as many souls who might not have come to believe, or perished

without the word of God.

Judgement by works, and deeds must come into play.

Rev 6:9-11

And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them

that were slain for the word of God, and the testimony which they held:

And they cried with a loud voice saying, How long O Lord, holy and true dost

thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And

white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them,

that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also

and their brethern, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Ps 139 23:24

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me and know my thoughts:

And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way evelasting.
