Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem!

RE: Will the End of this World be by Storms of Foul Weather...

Bad weather has been happening all over the US. Thunder/Ligtning with snowfall, Fast winds, hail and flooding rain. :(

According to the zodiac we are in the Aquarius Age. Aquarius has to do with the pouring of water.

The world may not end because of these storms however these storms may help destroy the lands and make it eaiser for the final blow. :emot-dance:

Eventually the world will end somehow, but your guess is as good as mine when it comes to when and how!

I don't think that the current storms are any cause for concern, this earth has been shaken by natural disasters for as long as it has been around!

Where do you put your trust? Astrology or God?

Surely, if He is able to create the eyes to read these words, He is able to do much more.

:24: Ummm . . . Liz . . . what's with the astrology reference?

As for the storms, I heard one weather forecaster mentioned that this is the kind of storm that comes once every 20 years. That statement implies that this type of storm has occurred before several times before.

I am sure bad weather will play into the plagues of Revelation. However, do not look to these things. Look to Jesus. Remember, when the signs of the end appear, lift up your eyes, for your redemption draweth nigh!

What He Said!

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

All these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24:3-8

Joe, the issue is WHEN that will happen. People have been saying that the end of the world is near for centuries. People during the time of Jesus felt that they would see Jesus return in their lifetime!

The passage, while a nice one, is still very ambiguous.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

This is not a specific marker for when the end will come. Nations have been rising against nation for thousands of years. Kingdoms have been rising against kingdoms for thousands of years. Famines, pestilences, earthquakes have all happened countless times in this earth's history. To say that because weather is bad now means the end is coming doesn't make sense, because the exact same weather problems we face today has occured in the past.

No, I don't think that we will see the coming of Christ in our lifetime. I think that if prophesy is to be fufilled, it will be VERY obvious that things are happening according to what is written. We can look at events and tie them into anything if we truly want to, but when Jesus does plan on coming back, we are going to KNOW about it by the furiousness of the end times. Today's times are no different than other times in human history, in fact we are relatively peaceful compared to the past today.

Love it Bro when you post scripture!

You can talk Bible to me all day!

Point taken about the timing of the end of man's sinful rule upon earth.....it just can't be too soon for this old man!

However if you truly believe you will live through extended birth pains, batten down the hatches mate, a storm's a'brewing.

Nick, prophecy's being fulfilled even as you and I fellowship today.

Look at Israel!

She may even, after 2,000 years, become a country again! :o:o:24:

Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Isaiah 66:8

To my limited knowledge, in no time in the history of this planet has the invader been invited almost world-wide into it's target nations and paid to make itself at home.

My guess about this astonishing blindness of pride-filled Western Civilization.

The Lord is once again showing His bodacious sense of humor and justice....If you dance long enough with Islam, Islam will dance with you!

The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. Psalms 37:13

And this is as true in The USA as it is in The UK and the rest of Western Europe!

It is a new day dawning and storm clouds are gathering.

When you tell me it is just like yesterday, you really need to point to Jerusalem and show me where it is no different than at any other time in the last two thousand years of human history!

Nick, I'm astonished you can just shrug it off!

I would expect a smart young feller like yourself to dig deeply into his Bible and to plead with Heaven to be of some earthly good for The Kingdom of God and for His Glory in the short time left.

Well maybe you do Nick, just maybe you do!

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. Luke 21:28

Come Quickly Lord Jesus, Come Quickly!

Love, Joe

PS: If I survive the move, I'll be South and maybe a little West of you this fall.

My wife is moving us back to Elgin, Illinois.

I left Zion in 1953 and never missed the Winters!

Nick, maybe we'll see each other before The Rapture. :o

No More Cosmos! No More Earth!

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Revelation 20:11

Holy! Holy! Holy!

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. Revelation 21:1-7

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
