The new Jerusalem is symbolic of heaven after Christ has come and opened the Gates.

I think you have made your ways.

if you ever want additional scripture of the New Jerusalem I have plenty of it. ... 3xR0c|<stAr

I have a copy of the Bible too, pal.

The New Jerusalem, with no need of temple, with God sitting at the throne, as the Bride of Christ...it is the new heaven. It's source is heaven. At the end, the new Jerusalem will be IT. There will be no need for heaven because the New Jerusalem will unite or disunite all souls. It will be the only thing in the end, and we all must be clean.

Comparing the New Jerusalem to Heaven is not a bad thing here. Still, it WILL BE outside of space and time.

CaritateDei,

just off curiosity before you get bombarded.

if people placed some scripture clarifying some of those verses that you have; are you

willing to break out of that purgotory belief or is it embedded so deep in you that you will not budge? ... 3xR0c|<stAr

I am very open to hearing responses and clarification.

well, I can start by asking you this:

Revelation 21:27 - Nothing unclean shall enter [heaven]

1. where do you believe this is located? ... 3xR0c|<stAr

Heaven is outside of space and time, pal.

Scripture please

Wow! How far off the mark.

So the blood of Jesus is incapable of cleansing us from all sin? Believing that lie will get you into a lot of trouble one Day.

Here is the problem. You do not respond to a single point I made. You just say, "You're wrong, I'm right."

I have quoted the Bible. The Bible is quite clear that no one is assured of salvation. What is so harmful about purgatory?

It doesn't matter about your single points. what matters is all of what your saying says the blood of christ is not enough. that in itself is enough to show your off the mark. WAY off the mark.

Christs blood atoned for all sin. So no one has to pay any price for sin unless they die unsaved.

Ok...where do you get that from? The Bible is VERY clear that no one is assured. We will still be judged according to our deeds. I can sit there and believe in Christ Jesus, shouting, "Lord, Lord!" But that does not assure me of salvation.

By the way, Jesus said that.

Wow, your not assured of your salvation? I know without a shadow of doubt, I am secure in his salvation. God promised me. Are you saying that God breaks his promises???

john 3:16, ephesians 2:8&9

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Rom 5:11 And not only [so], but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

These are sealed promises of God. Sealed in Christs blood.

In accordance with the Book of Hebrews...I'm guessing you never sin either?

Hebrews 10:26-27

If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

If one continues to sin after coming to Jesus, then of course, they have to face harsh judgment. Not purgatory. There is no other additional cleansing but the blood of Jesus, the Lamb of God.

yep thats right. pretty much some of us are going to be in mansions, some like me probably going to be streetsweepers.

Ok, so now you believe that I can walk in and out of heaven? No one has found heaven. God is spiritual. We cannot see God. We believe in God and Heaven, but cannot see him. Outside of Space and time. Good grief! AK is right, Atheists are so much easier to reason with!

It doesn't matter. It has been covered in the blood. hebrews was written to the christian jews that were trying to go back under the law. It does not negate Christs atonement for our sins. It does not advocate that one can lose their salvation. Thats a false doctrine.

But it says you're going to hell if you sin. Based on yours and FA's conclusions, all people who sin, knowing of God or not, go to hell.

You must be without sin, then, if you are assured of salvation. To say it doesn't matter contradicts yourself.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
