I usually vote repupblican...and I probably will but if that guliani guy runs then I honestly don't know if I will even vote because iwill not vote for democrat but at same time, but at same time I disagree with what that guy stands for...

at this point i'm leaning heavily towards mitt romney.

In the primaries I will probably vote for Romney or Brownback.

In the general election as niether one of those guys will be the candidate, I will probably vote for a third party candidate.

I'm with LadyC, Romney has my vote at this time. I am still hoping Thompson will jump in, if so, then he's gets the Marnieland vote.

Probably Obama right now, but I honestly don't know a lot about candidates so far. It's still a long time away, I certaintly don't have my mind made up.

I've actually done quite a bit of research on Thompson, and found I've agreed with most of his decisions, and certainly with most of his stated positions. For starters, he's pro-life. That's huge for me. He's pro-capitalist. I understand why many people dislike the Free Trade thing, but the reality is, American business do and should have the right to do business with whoever they would do business with, as long as those people don't constitute a threat to our national security in some way. That's how capitalist economy works... if you don't like how a company is doing business, don't give them your money. It's just conscientious consumerism. I support the idea that the government isn't telling American businesses how to go about doing business.

As for the border, he actually seems to be for securing our borders, so I have no problem with that end of it, either. I also tend to support the campaign finance reform that everyone seems to have such a big problem with, because I think the further you can put money from the governing process, the better.
