Romans 9:18Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.

19One of you will say to me: "Then why does God still blame us? For who resists his will?" 20But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? "Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?' " 21Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?

Um... Dan, the problems in the world are not God's fault. The devil entered the world & caused the problems. Didn't he tempt Adam & Eve to sin in the 1st place? That's where problems/sin entered into the world. He wanted to be worshipped above God & that's how all of this got started. God didn't do it. Ultimately God is in control of everything & the devil will wind up in hell @ the end of it all. We are given the choice to worship, love & believe in God. It's our choice to do what we wish in this life, but when Judgment day comes we will get our eternal reward or punishment. Its up to us. Please calm down & think about it. God loves you, but it's up to you to love Him back.

He knew thi mess would happen ahead of time. I didn't sign up for it. I don't want it.

Dan

Dan, brother... you have much in common with the psalmist who expressed his feelings in Psalm 73. Read his words, brother, and hopefully they will speak to your heart as they did mine. I know you have had great struggles. I have continued to pray for you often. I won't try to compare my experiences except to say when I was in my darkest hours, it helped to know that I wasn't alone and that my vision needed to extend further out. None of us signed up and none of us want pain...no more than a child born retarded because his mother smoked crack or...and on and on. Being ex-military, I sort of look at life as a spiritual boot camp preparing me for a greater level of being...one which will prepare me for an eternity with HIM. :emot-hug:

I think you miss understand the nature of Hell. Hell is the absence of God, and God is giving us a warning about the choices we make. It is like if I tell you about jumping off a cliff. Just because I tell you about the consequences of jumping off the cliff doesn't mean I made you jump off the cliff. Further if I never tell you about the consequences then what kind of person would I be. God is telling you about consequences of your decisions. Just think of how cruel it would be if he never told you about the consequences.

God Bless,

K.D.

It's very easy to believe negative lies. The world thrives on these. People want to see the evil, rather than the good. Sometimes the good happens at the end of the road but sometimes God surprises you and brings your joy sooner. He will help you if you let Him and when He does, I hope you realize it was Him who helped you and remember to thank Him. You'll find, the more you see the little gifts and thank Him for them, the bigger they grow. That isn't to say bad times won't hit you, they hit all of us, but look for the good, the good always comes.

Hello Dan,

God is your only hope. Don't turn against the One who loves you. There is not only today. But there is an eternity awaiting us all. Disappointment, pain, and grief touches and even consumes the lives of many. But this does not negate the love of God. Lean on him Dan. He will hold you up.

I have been thinking about you and have prayed. Every single one of us reaches the point of decision at some time or other. You can decide to believe, regardless of what evidence you see that seems to say otherwise, that God is good. Not only that, but God is who He says He is to you.

Lay your torment at his feet. He bore it all for you. And one day you are going to see Him face to face.

Thinking of you

Dosen"t anybody ever get mad at God? This world is full of pain, disease, depression, grief and slow miserable deaths. I never signed up for this. I never asked to be created and I honestly wish I wasn't. Is this a loving God? So many people are lost and miserable. Did they sign up either. If he sees into the future, than he could see that we would fall. Why create a mess on purpose? Why should we be held accountable for anything? We didn't ask to be created.

The sickest thing that I've ever heard is that "God created us for his own pleasure"/ What!!!!! YOU PLEASURE ME OR GO TO HELL AND BURN FOR EVER AND EVER?":??????????You'll be sick and in pain and you'll praise me for it! You will loose your loved ones and praise me for it! You'll get raped and ripped off but still be thankful!!!Blah Blah Blah!!

Is it me or does that seem a bit narcassistic? Loving God or Cosmic bully!

Oh! we have Jesus to comfort us! I don't see much comfort in this world. There are billions that don't even know who Jesus was. Why dosen't anyone here ever ask the question " why is this religion so nutty". It makes no sence at all!!!

The reason????....your afraid because of HELL! LOVE ME OR GO TO HELL! How could that ever be love. Its manipulation. I don't want my children to love me because I threaten them if they don't. Thats not love at all. Love is a choice. You give your love because you want to. Not because your afraid not to. Its my "God "given common horse sence that tells me this.

You people can hate my guts and toss me off this board, but you'll never be able to answer these questions.

I don't want to be a spiritual lab rat. I never asked this demon in. He came aboard when I was an innocent little boy via someone else sick demon driven fantacy. Where was God? Why didn't he protect me? Can't he even protect little ones?

If any one thinks the devil is not real...Oh! believe me he is...I see much more evidence of him than God.

Hes a very sick "bleep"

You may not be in the mood to read this reply now, but if you are a true believer in God as you signature states,

" Dan (true believer)"
. then maybe later you will.

God is not the author of sin, sickness or disease. Satan and demons are.

Several times in Scripture God Himself said of certain events that they DID NOT COME INTO HIS MIND (Jer. 19:5; 32:35; 44:21).

God DID NOT KNOW BEFOREHAND that men would become so wicked. It repented Him that He had made man! It grieved Him at His heart! (Gen. 6:5-7), that they would plan Babel (Gen. 11:5-7); that Sodom would be so wicked He went there Himself to see if it was true according to the report of it which was given to Him (Gen. 18:21). He said, "If I find fifty righteous within the city in verse 26. Why make this statement if He already knew? (Gen. 18:26-32). God did not know whether it would take one or two or three signes to make Israel believe Him (Ex.4:1-12); or whether testing Israel would cause them to obey Him or not (Deut. 8:2, 16). Goid did not know that Israel would backslide as far as it did (Deut. 32:19-29; Isa. 59:15-19).

God SEARCHES THE HEARTS to find whom He can bless (2 Chr. 16:9). He DISCOVERS deep things (Job. 12:22); He tries the hearts and reins of men so that He may know them (Ps. 7:9; 44:21; 139:1-6, 23-24; Jer. 17:10; 1 Chr. 28:9; Rom.8:27; 1 Cor. 2;10; Rev. 2:23), proving all men for the same reason (Ps. 17:3; 66:10; 81:7).

God goes Himself, or He sends messengers throughout the whole of His vast creations to find out for Him what He wants to know, the same as the head of any other organization would be likely to do, so that plans may be made and actions can be taken accordingly. Examples of such agency constantly reporting to God can be found in all these passages (Gen. 18:21-22; Dan. 10:13-21; 11:1; 12:1; Zech. 1:7-11; 6:1-8; Matt. 18:10-11; Heb. 1:14; 2:2; Rev. 1:1; 7:1-3; 8:2-13; 9:1; 14:6-20; 15:1-8; 16:1-21; 18:21; 22:6, 8-9, 16).

The 6,468 commands in the Bible regulating man as to his part in the eternal plan of God, and setting forth his responsibility to God and man, the 1,260 promises and blessings, rewards or loss of rewards, the hundreds, the hundreds of warnings, curses, blessings and dealings of God on the basis of conformity to His will. the 1,522 "IF'S" and the many hundreds of conditional requirements of God throughout Scripture are sufficient proof that God does not cause all acts and events by His own decrees, and are sufficient proof that He changes His own dealings with men as they conform or refuse to conform to His will. Such facts and many others make it clear that God does not know from all eternity what any one man will do, much less what different types and dispositions of men will do under various circumstances that are not yet present to deal with.

There is not one statement of Scripture in the entire Bible saying God knows or even would like to know all acts and particular events of all the vast creations of free moral agents from all eternity past; or that He has fixed decrees choosing and predestinating all thoughts, acts, and deeds of free wills from all eternity past to all eternity future. God's plan will not fail and it is known from the beginning to the end and what He plans to bring to bring to pass on Earth He has power to do, but concerning the free moral actions of free moral agents He does not know from all eternity what they will do before they are in existence and are here to have a part in His plan. He does not know which ones will be saved and which ones will be lost. He has made a plan for all to be saved alike and all who conform to His plan are blessed with the predestined blessings. Those who wilfully rebel will be cursed with the predestined punishments according to the plan. It is the plan that is known from beginning to the end, not the individual conformity to it by free moral agents. It is left up to each person to choose His own destiny. God wills all men to be saved but if man does not choose to be saved that is his responsibility (1 Tim. 2:4; 2 Pet. 3:9; John 3:16; Rev. 22:17). God has a plan for all to be saved alike and all who conform to His plan are blessed with the predestined blessings.

God created man with freedom to chose, and God had a plan prepared; "In case man failed the test and chose to sin," Adam had a choice. Had Adam not sinned, God's plan for man would have been carried out without Christ having to die, man would have been granted access to the tree of life, and the world would have continued as it will be in the near future when the "New Heavens and the New Earth are ushered in.

God had to test man to see if he would obey Him, so that he could be trusted in an eternal responsibility in connection with the Earth and God's universal Kingdom. God had seen how Licifer had exaulted himself and lifted himself up in pride, and rebelled against God's sovereignty; so it was natural for God to test man to see if he would exault himself as Luciifer did (Isa. 14:12-14; Ezek. 28:11-7; 1 Tim. 3:6).

God planned that "IF" man fell he should do it before God allowed him to eat of the tree of life, so that he would not have to live forever in a sinful state. Man believed Lucifer's lie and chose to eat of the forbidden tree, thinking he would become like God, just as Lucifer once craved.

That is why God drove Adam and Eve from the garden and placed Cheribims before the tree to guard it lest they eat of it (Genesis 3:23-24).

God tested man soon after creation instead of later in life. God further intended that "IF" man should fall, he should fall before man had off-spring, so that his children could be born into the world on the same level with himself in order that God could have mercy upon "ALL ALIKE" through Jesus. God's perfect plan would make all men dependant upon Him for needed Grace for body, soul, and spirit. God's plan would give the same opportunity to be saved or lost "AS MEN FREELY CHOSE." God demonstrated to man that He was not a Lier and a tyrant, and one to hide the truth as He was accused of being by Lucifer.

As it is now, as revealed in God's plan, which He knows from beginning to end, God can speedily and eternally redeem the human race and the Earth to a state of perfection AS BEFORE THE FALL, and we can be assured that His plan for us in all eternity will never be marred again.

So, Scripture shows God did not know which way mean would go, because man had the freedom to chose, and God allowed man to chose.

God had to test man, and God was and is FULLY PREPARED FOR EVERY POSSIBLE OUTCOME.

Every physical pain through accident or disease, every accident, every criminal event, every war, every child being abused is the deliberate action of deliberate sin commited by someone in some way or another.

God DID NOT KNOW BEFOREHAND that men would become so wicked. It repented Him that He had made man! It grieved Him at His heart!

Matthew 18:7

7)Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

God did know. He is not ruled by time. Do you think God is just a good guesser? How else is it possible for the earliest books in the Bible to have predicted everything that has come true so far?

He also knows the best track for each person ever born and the finishline He has in mind is life everlasting with Him in Heaven. Bad things happen to all of us, whether we heard of God or not, death happens to all of us. So who would anyone blame if they didn't blame God, I wonder? Their mom? dad? The fact is there IS a bigger picture and God has already seen it. He knows the best route to send someone on to get them into Heaven to be with Him. He IS the butterfly effect Master. :24:

Ephesians 1:4

4)According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

God did know.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
