Yep - and that'll be me - sittin in the corner - listening to you guys. Ditto! (I just hope Shadow isn't waiting for us with cream pies, though! ) Just don't take ScarletPrayers seat. Guest LadyC Posted February 16, 2008 Share Posted February 16, 2008 i've met a couple of people from here in real life. artsylady and i have gone out to dinner together, gone to church together, and have gone sight-seeing together whenever she's visited las vegas. kittyjo lives in las vegas too, and she is the one who encouraged me to visit the church i am now a member of. she and i have even gone ice skating together a couple of times! another woman who nobody here knows, once signed up on this board and posted a solitary message. she was living in las vegas and looking for a church. she's never posted here since, but she is now a dear friend, she's on the worship team at my church, and she and i are doing bible college classes together. funny thing about her. (i can say this now, because even if she reads it, she already knows cuz i told her!) i didn't think very much of her in the beginning, and resented that God had put her in my life, for reasons i won't go into. but i am just AMAZED at how she has given her life wholeheartedly and completely to God and has really grown spiritually in leaps and bounds.
