The woman who owed you the money claims to be a Christian but she felt no conviction to repay you?

Did you go to your Father and ask Him to convict her?

If you do, He will...and if she hardens her heart, she's in a worse way that she was before.

Proverbs says something about "Woe" to a man who returns evil for good. I've had people steal from me; I've had them owe me money and then refuse to pay.

Oh, I could go on and on....the thing is, I just don't get bitter. I figure God will 'get my back' and He always does.

Remember, do it expecting NOTHING in return..because nothing is probably what you'll get.

If someone borrows money because they have bad credit...guess what? There's a reason they have bad credit. You're next.

My husband's older daughter got scammed by her younger sister for over 5 grand...*(5,000 bucks); my baby sister stole my mother's identity and did a credit card in mother's name and could'nt pay, ruining my mother's sterling credit.

My exhusband said he needed hundreds of dollars or he's be in serious trouble for misusing his company's credit card. When I gave him the money to cover it, he spent it on Christmas presents for friends and family. *(Ironically, he never even sent me a Christmas card)...

Well, that's how it goes...people are just kinda well...mods, can I say this? ..People are kinda "crummy".

What do ya do? :o

I liked the first part of your post...

And, the ideas I am getting on how to help, minister to people...

And, I know about people doing you wrong...

I Believe you must find it in yourself to pray for the person-people...

And, be merciful and forgive...it does not matter who is right or what went on...

You will hinder your Love walk and talk...

Please Please much growth can occur...if you will only say good things of debters...

And, Believe for only Good things for others....

Do not allow negative people to speak bad of another party...

Are you a part of the problem or part of the solution?

If not then you have no need to hear of it...

If you will stand in Love of God...and do good...

Depart from evil...and do good ...this is my prayer for you Sister...

And, I expect God to work great things in your life...

Thanks and Praise in All Things...MJohn

P.S. Prison to Praise...a paperback easily found a good read...

MJohn,I totally agree and I think that is part of the problem in the sense that like I said these people do deserve the blessings they have received I don't feel bad about them but the situation.

This was an example of how I feel. Like where is God when it come to our finances because we have struggled like this for years with most of our customers and there has been no other way to structure our business. We pray about it and things have gotten worse so I felt like it was time to ask for prayer backing from our ladies group but even then it was like a shut door to ask for that because I felt like I couldn't with this lady there.

It wasn't that I was having a go at her more that I was trying to say I can't even ask for prayer from others about this when we so despratly need it.

Maybe I explained myself wrong, sorry. I had a sense of resentment more in the feeling of well look whats happening for them and I can't even ask for prayer support. Why?

It's not about monitary gain either, rather that we are paying thousands in fees each year which could be spent in other ways, like helping with certain things at church and blessing people in other ways. And that is what I don't get. Why do we have a burden to give in the way that we do if the provision is not going to be there?

I do appreciate both of your thoughts on this and I know my situation is not the only one like this so I thought I'd bring it up knowing that talking about it wouldn't just help me but others too.

I will certainly be thinking about and praying about the areas that you touched on.

A good post...and of course here we have no way of knowing what the business or situation is...But, if you wish to share it here or with a Bro. / Sister...in private...

God Answers prayer and I truely Believe in Godly Counsel...

In the multitude of couselors there is safety...from proverbs

"Without consultation, plans are frustrated, But with many counselors they succeed." Pv. 15:22 (This is talking of Godly counsel)

Many are the plans of a man's heart,

But with counsel of the Lord, it will stand. Pv. 19:21

'Listen to counsel and accept discipline,

That you may be wise the rest of your days.' Pv. 19:20 (from the NAS)

If you agree with the word on this...and if you and your husband are in one accord...God will answer your prayers and He will provide for you and yours...

You can Believe this...and feel free to share this with any Believers...

God's ways and His Word is True and It works...this is not just endless keyboarding...and if you are living according to the Truth...God is no respecter of persons...what He does for one He will do for You...May this strengthen your Faith...

And, may you step out in Faith Believing for Good Things...And, God as a favor to me...bring comfort and understanding and peace to GymRose...

May she feel she has heard from You...Meet her needs...And, I give You all the Thanks and Praise for the opportunity to share...amen...MJohn

Thank you MJohn.

I have faith and I love God and am so thankful to Him for everything. I also admit because of the struggles we have faced this is the one area I find hard to trust God with and I have said so to him and asked for Him to help me trust him. I am prepeared for any disipline because I know it is good if it is from God. I know my Daddy loves me when He disiplines me to turn me around from what is wrong or to teach me something I can share with someone else.

Just hard when you are going through it, and for so long, year in year out since we got married almost 7 years ago and even though we change things and take advice of those who have greater wisdom in this area than us nothing changes.

I know we will see victory as we press in, just a matter of when.

Thank you for your words of encouagement and prayers, they really are appreciated.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
