"If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come!" 1 Corinthians;16;21

Is this verse written about the church members or everyone in general?

"Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." This written in the law was just for the Jews. But Paul's scripture who is it aimed at??

If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, he has already brought a curse upon himself, not least because He goes through life without knowing the love, care, protection and providence of the Lord God :emot-handshake:

Who said the law was just for the Jews?

At the time of Christ the Jews were not even there. They were abroad. (see James 1:1)

I think you are confused. :24:

I live in Texas that makes me a Texan. :24:

Because I live in Texas does not make me a Jew.

To be a Jew you have to be a descendant of one of the twelve tribes. :24:

The Jews during the time of Christ were not descendants of the twelve tribes but they were Jews. :b:

They were Jews because they lived in Judah. :emot-handshake:

I hope you understand.

Christ was from Nazareth and was called a Nazarene (see Mat 2:23.) he was never called a Jew.

People today try to claim he was a Jew but the bible states otherwise.

This may be to much for you to digest right now. So I will stop here. :24:

I don't often interrupt like this, however Kidtek, I think you could have worded this better, the OP was asking an honest question and it is your duty to answer it honestly, sincerely and with humility.

God Bless you

Very very honest and True !!!!!!

"Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, 9 and do not think to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. 10 And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire." Mathew;3;7-10

Shalom,

Sorry, this is not Biblical.

Jesus, is from the lineage of David. Jesus is THE seed of Abraham and most definitely is a Jew. What you are espousing here is a false doctrine and also has nothing to do with the OP.

Jesus could not have been the Messiah if He was not from the Jews. He had to fufill prophecy. I could post all the fulfilled Messianic prophecies, but that is for another thread. Jesus was sent to the lost sheep of Israel, HIS people first.

Romans 9:

1 I am speaking the truth in Christ

True members of the Body of Christ DO love Him. Sometimes it takes a while to realize this. God is patient.

We are not to judge who is cursed and who is not. It's not our place.

"Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." This written in the law was just for the Jews. But Paul's scripture who is it aimed at??

From here:

Certainly, there is a curse on all who rely on their own efforts to live according to a set of standards because Scripture says, "Whoever doesn't obey everything that is written in Moses' Teachings is cursed."

How did you arrive at these conclusions?

1. Anna was from the tribe of Asher:

There was also a prophetess, Anna, a daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was well along in years, having lived with her husband seven years after her marriage,

Luke 2:36 HCSB

2. Paul was from the tribe of Benjamin

I ask, then, has God rejected His people? Absolutely not! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.

Romans 11:1 HCSB

3. Jesus himself was from the tribe of Judah (see his geneaologies in Matthew and Luke)

4. The smaritan woman referred to Jesus as a Jew

How is it that You, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" she asked Him. For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.

John 4:9 HCSB

Um, you should know, buddy, that being Jewish has to do with race as well as a spiritual belief. You can take the Jew away from the place of his ancestors and he REMAINS a Jew. It's not about where he lives.

Also...I just can't tell you how dead wrong you are about Jesus not being a Jew. He was a Jew in every sense of the word. His parents were Jews, their bloodline going back to David (in order that prophecies about Him might be fulfilled), and he was dedicated a Jew in the temple and circumcised on the eighth day of his life, as with every Jewish male. See Luke 2.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
