The preachers are only pointing out what us modern Christians have been trying to point out all along: religion and science are not mutually exclusive. Also, the more we rip religion away from science, the more foolish religion is going to look. Don't you get it?

Do you make a distinction between biological evolution (science) and Darwinism (metaphysics)?

Darwinism is not metaphysics. It is a way to explain Evolution (look up natural selection).

Edit: in the literal definition of the word, Christianity more deals with metaphysics, and that's not a bad thing: only the truth.

I have studied Darwinism at length and it most certainly is metaphysics mixed with a little science passed off as pure science. Are you a Darwinist? If you are what is the difference between your version of Darwinism and the godless Darwinism of the anti-theist, Richard Dawkins (The Devil's Chaplain)?

Religion deals with metaphysics; Darwinism doesn't, and you seem to suggest that metaphysics is a bad thing, when it really isn't.

But you are wrong - Darwinism is a religion. And my point is - when discussing Creationism vs. Darwinism we are discussing "beliefs", i.e. religion. Our argument is not religion vs. science

all i can say to those who preach on this will answer to god on judgment day as you did not hear the apostles or disciples or Jesus him self preach like what is being preached now from the pulpit

yet we live in a world were you got even Christians who are Darwin fans and if you pull him down boy you Will hear about it from these brothers who look up to Darwin as a god and believe in what ever this man says and when you have gods living word right in front off you its as if its flawed to these Christians who worship and defend Darwin

its sad and i am sure going to be watching when we all face god to what happens to these people as i will be listening to weather god says welcome home or go to hell and i just want to see who is right

as i run into these people and they have nothing better to do than waste your time and try to get you to come to there way of thinking
