With so many denominations arguing over doctrinal issues, how do we preach the Gospel to others?

If we tell others the Holy Spirit of God leads us to truth, then how do we explain to them why we don't agree on so many issues?

Everything from infant baptism to the gifts of the Holy Spirit to "love the sinner, hate the sin" is up for quarrel.

How do we present a unified voice for the Gospel of salvation through Christ Jesus?

Shalom,

Sorry, we are not called to be "unified", we are called to preach the Word, G-d's Word. Not our own.

There are divisions within the Body, based on different interpretations of Scriptures. As long as we are in these human bodies with fallible minds and human reasonings, we will have these divisions.

However, that has nothing to do with witnessing. We must only share G-d's Word about Jesus, sin, salvation and the person's need for the Savior. These things we agree on.

As for infant baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit and quotes, these are NON-ESSENTIALS to salvation. We learn and grow as Christians and as we read the Word and study. Again, these have nothing to do with salvation and our differences should never be an excuse not to tell the world that they need Jesus to be saved.

There is no such thing as everyone agreeing on the non-essentials. Not in this life anyway.

So, focus on the REAL issue and that is, preaching Jesus and His love and forgiveness to a dying world and don't worry so much about us all not agreeing on non-essential issues.

We are called primarily to love other believers, not necessarily agree with them in every area. Jesus said it will be our love for each other, not our agreement that will identify us as His followers to those who do not yet believe in Jesus

I give you a new commandment: love one another. Just as I have loved you, you must also love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

But there's one Gospel, one Truth, one Church, one Holy Spirit.

We are not to be unified in them?

"we are called to preach the Word, G-d's Word. Not our own."

- That's my point. If we can't agree what God's Word is, then how do we preach the Word to the unbelievers who see disagreement among the Church and say, "Look, they can't even agree. If they claim to have the guidance of the Holy Spirit who speaks the truth, then why all the quarrels?"

We tell the unbelievers the Bible is inerrant and that there is absolute truth contained in the Bible. How can we separate what is essential and non-essential?

Peter and Paul had disagreements. Paul and Barnabas had disagreements. But they still loved each other. Thats the key

Christians who already believe understand that in the end, Jesus is all that matters.

I'm just talking about nonbelievers who say, "If Christians can't even agree amongst themselves, then why should we even see what this Jesus person is all about?"

Shalom,

There is a difference in essentials of the faith and non-essentials. You are talking about non-essentials and it is not necessary that we all agree on them. What we preaching to sinners is not infant baptism, it is Jesus and Him risen! This is what Christians agree on, WHO Jesus is, and that we all need HIM to be saved.

The other issues are not essential to salvation.

When I witness to someone, I don't talk about the non-essentials, I talk about the basics of the Christian faith, which is Jesus is the Son of G-d, the Second Person in the Triunity of G-d, He was born of a virgin, died for our sins and was raised by the power of G-d. All according to prophecy. THESE are the essentials for salvation, that's what we are witnessing.

Focus on witnessing the essentials and don't get so hung up that we all don't agree on the non-essentials.

Shalom,

That's an excuse and a Straw Man argument from non-believers. See it for what it is. If you are witnessing, go past that and show them the truth from G-d's Word about who Jesus is and that they need Him to be saved. Don't be manipulated to steer off of the basics of salvation.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
