Oh please, I've made the same comments when I was a babe in Christ, so what, as I learned, I had to let go of those things, because as I matured in Christ, and read the Word, I finally had to accept the fact that it didn't matter what I wanted to believe or think, I had to accept God's way.

I had a terrible potty mouth, I also did other things and found excuses for myself. That didn't mean that God still wasn't working on me to "sand" off those rough edges and bring my life in line with what He wanted me to do and be.

So Dog and Beth are still having their rough edges sanded, praise God, but I'll let Him do it, He doesn't need my help, and Dog and Beth don't need my condemnation.

Exactly !! AND what Glory said - "he's not a preacher is he?" nor is he a teacher. also it's TV - the producers are going to edit for ratings who knows they could compact language from several shows into one every time.

Perfect sense. Yet, we need to be even MORE diligent. Duane is preaching a false gospel as well as living like a heathen. Please read his quote about Jesus not being the only Mediator. Post #39.

Yes, he is. When he's teaching to others and NOT teaching the truth. He teaches and preaches that there is MORE than one way to the Father. That is false Gospel.

Of course he is a teacher. We are all teachers when we teach others about Jesus.

He is teaching others and what he is teaching is NOT the real Jesus, but MANY "Christ-ISH" ways to the Father. That is a false religion, not Christianity.

Oh please, right back atcha! Read Dog's comments about what he believes about Jesus. That HE is NOT the ONLY way to get to the Father. And yes, they DO need help in seeing the truth from the Bible, like it or not.

No one is condemning them, so don't play that Straw Man card dear.

What is being discussed here is the BIBLE vs all y'all's opinions.

I'm here to stand on the Word, not man's opinion. You can condemn ME for that, but you won't condemn someone preaching a FALSE GOSPEL because he's on TV and you're a fan of his? Hmmmm. Very telling. The Bible is very clear not to overlook these things that y'all want to overlook because you are fans of his.

i believe that the chapman's do know Christ as their saviour, but that they are very much babes in Christ, and as works in progress, have a lot of growing and learning to do.

What you personally believe is not the question. What I personally believe is not the question. Nor do our opinions matter.

We must hold their ACTIONS up to the Scriptures.

We must hold their WORDS up to the Scriptures.

Y'all can gloss over the profanity, the immoral sexual behavior and everything else, but you CANNOT disregard Duane's own words where he is preaching a false Gospel of many ways to the Father and "Christ-ISH" figures in every religion.

THAT does not stand up to the Scriptures as Christian. No matter what we want to personally believe.

Because people are exalting him as a Christian. Because people need to know the truth about this icon who says he is a Christian yet preaches a false religion, false Jesus. SO people can PRAY for him to find the real Jesus, rather than PRAISE him because he is a TV icon.

Because the Bible says to speak the truth and expose the lie.
