"Here Comes the Sun" by George Harrison is probably my all-time favorite song.

Other favorites currently: "Searching for a Heart" by Warren Zevon, "Am I Wrong" by Keb' Mo', "Girl with the Golden Eyes" by Ed Volker, and, of late, "Ramalama (Bang Bang)" by Roisin Murphy.

My favourite all-time secular song was one by Bryan Ferry, from the 'Let's stick together' album.

It was called 2HB. I was in love at the time......or so I thought :emot-questioned:

I used to watch this girl riding horses, who lived about 200 yards from me. I was about 14 at the time, and used to ride my motorbike past her house regularly, to impress her.

I had just bought this Album by Bryan Ferry, and this song struck a chord in me.

It was only years later that I discovered that the song was about Humphrey Bogart......2HB......To Humphrey Bogart

Still, the song still strikes a chord in me, and takes me back to my younger days.

........Ah...memories :noidea::noidea:

...ps....anybody heard the song?............if not, you should :)

My favourite Christian song?........well, there are too many to name.....

'How great thou Art' springs to mind.

Also.....'Let me hide myself in Thee'

I could go on, but I would probably bore the socks off you :emot-questioned:

Ax, I won't list a song I believe is bad for the testimony of Christ. I'll give you a hint to one I'm thinking of, it makes light of cursing God, unrepentantly. It's an otherwise good group and has many good songs for God's praise. But just like every secular song isn't satanic or sinful, every "Christian" song isn't perfect, either.

There are so many, but one of my current favorites is "Indescribable" by Chris Tomlin. :emot-hug:

It's a great song to sing at the top of your lungs while driving down a country road in a thunder storm; or on a beautiful starlit night! :emot-hug:

From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea

Creation's revealing Your majesty

From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring

Every creature unique in the song that it sings

All exclaiming

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.

You are amazing God

All powerful, untameable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim

You are amazing God

Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go

Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow

Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light

Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night

None can fathom

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name

You are amazing God

All powerful, untameable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim

You are amazing God

You are amazing God
