"Can we fly in heaven or are similar rules of physics going to apply?"

It'd be cool to be able to do what "science" restricts us doing in the physical! Don't you think? :b:

we already know that one, I think - Doesn't the Bible say we'll be like Jesus and when He was resurrected he walked thru walls, translocated and went straight up to heaven. It also says we don't yet know what we will be but those are at least some of the things and for sure I can't see us being restricted to space and time.

Yeah that's true.. never clicked on to that before for some reason! heh :)

It always makes me laugh though when people say Jesus walked through walls.. because He did really .. He just *appeared* inside locked rooms. But either way, if we can "teleport" like that with our ressurrected bodies, then I'd be happy! Who needs to fly when you can just 'port around! hehehe :D

you got it Luke you think and therfore you are there. patricia

I wonder if Heaven is full of high-tech stuff as it is on earth.

If Jesus appeared before you, and allowed you to ask but one question of him....what would it be?

Lord am i worthy to live in your beautiful heaven.

I'm sure our highest tech stuff is as stone age stuff compared with what will be in heaven, and it won't even need electricity!

Yeah that is a point.. I wonder what "techinical/scientific" level the perfect world would be at?

Maybe nothing at all.. if you think about Genesis, it was created "good" and perfect before the fall.. and all that was was nakedness and nature in perfect union with God!

:noidea:

I agree. I'm sure it would blow our minds if we understood all the mysteries of God. :noidea:

I think I'd also ask about that "pillar of fire by night" and "pillar of smoke by day" when Moses was being led around in the wilderness.

Exodus 14:24

24)And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

That verse has always made me wonder. :help:

:emot-handshake:

Actually, if the world was still perfect and we still had face to face communion with God, we wouldn't need all the hi-tech stuff.

I'd ask, "What were you writing on the ground?"

Good one! Wish I would have thought of that! I too have wondered about what he wrote in the dust many times.....

I'm kinda leaning toward he was listing the sins of those accusing the woman...

You know...Jesus was just cool enough to do something like that. It would better explain why they all ran off so quickly when He said, "he who is without sin...". Our God is an awesome God.
