Thought's I had this morning over a cup of Starbucks coffee and a lemon bar........

I was thinking about the Passion movie. There is so much talk and speculation on every topic from how it was made, to the heart of Mel, to what the outcome and impact of such a movie will be. I have committed to fasting and prayer over this at least once a day until the movie comes out. This could be one of the biggest world impacts in the Christianity circle since 9-11, or any other major event that draws peoples attention to "What happens after I die?" and "Was there a man named Jesus and what did He really do that was so special?". Never before have we seen on screen, the larger than life - graphic detail of how such Love was nailed to a cross. I have no idea what will become of me after that movie. I look forward to seeing it next Thursday - not from what I will see......I know what will be on the screen. The pages of the first 4 books in the New Testament on a larger than life screen - in your face Love, in your face suffering, and the way of redemption. I look forward to the transformation again in my own life. And I urge everyone to pray in preparation. The bible speaks of a veil over the unbeliever's eyes. That is why they have trouble seeing the cross and seeing what Christ did. Take some time to fast and pray. Pray for the veil to be lifted from everyone who sees this film across the world. That they will see Love being nailed to a tree - 2000 years ago, so that we are able to know that Love, today. People doubt Mel's salvation. Indeed - man may never judge the soul and salvation of another man - only God sees the soul that way.

40"I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."
But I would venture to say, that if Mel is still not a child of God after this project, then he is a very powerful stone God will use.

Luke 19

38"Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!"[2]

"Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!"

39Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!"

40"I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."

41As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it 42and said, "If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace--but now it is hidden from your eyes. 43The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. 44They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God's coming to you."

Let us pray. Let us prepare our own hearts to be changed. Let us prepare for the questions of people who have been watching us for years and will suddenly call you up or see you and say "Hey I remember you are someone who goes to church. That movie was amazing....that man lived? and did that for me?......." enter in an open heart here............... Let us see God's name proclaimed in a way like never before. Let us see the hearts of nations stirred everywhere to seek Jesus. Let us rise up for moments such as this. Let us not miss it......let us have no remorse for missing another opportunity again - to cease the moment in time when the veil is lifted and the field's are ready for harvest. More ready than we know.

2 Chronicles 7

13 "When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.

May peace, love, and the saving knowledge of Christ guide you through this next season of life. May our hearts be changed forever to know the passion Christ had for us. And the passion for the lost we are to share with him.

Bless you all.

Love, Willow

Fellow Saints,

Greetings in Christ! I know just a little about this Passion Movie, I have read some on it but not very much and for good reason, if I do see it I want to see it fresh and not have any sort of other peoples thoughts on it. I agree that Christ can use anything or one to get HIS Word out. I hope it sparks PASSION back into the Body of Christ as a whole.

We are long overdue for a true movie about the Lord Jesus and so many people aren't aware of what He did for us...the sacrifice he made.

I'm so glad God in His sovereinty made sure this movie was in fact made and distributed. It's gotten alot of press...something it wouldn't have gotten if Mel Gibson hadn't directed it.

Yay! Perhaps indeed, we'll see many lost souls come to Christ through His death and ressurection.

Well I saw the Passion last night. My thoughts were..........my thoughts......hmmm

my thoughts almost seem inadequate and insignificant. The film is brutal - how could it not be? That is what the bible told us happened, that is historically how they crucified someone.........but Jesus went through so much more than that. I will never be the same. As a friend of mine said, "I will never be able to sing songs in church about the 'blood of Jesus' or the cross again the same way." I can't believe such love Jesus had for us. I found myself sobbing in my car after the film and saying Jesus, was there really no other way? It meant that much to you? I...meant that much to you? I could never have done that. I could never have endured that kind of torture. Yet that was supposed to be my punishment." I heard my Father say to me "Child, it was not yours to carry. This was not for you to bear, but me. I did it for you, for everyone, my Father gave me the strength to endure." I loved the tear from heaven the bible talks about. They filmed that well. As the rain fell on my car, I felt like heaven could have been crying all over again. But of course it was not, Jesus reigns in it. He rose, He is alive, something we still find hard to understand. Jesus did not have some near death experience, He was GONE! And the judgement of death being denied as innocent blood was shed, allowed Jesus to arise, and makes it possible to choose eternity with Him.

I love this film. As a believer I feel.....vindicated. There is so much garbage out there about Jesus and about His followers. Something at last has come out, that does not sugar coat and water down the truth. This is what I strive to be - someone who follows this man, not just any man, but the Son of God! That I can follow the ways of good and the best example of Love that the world has ever seen. But the most important thing, that I believe it happened at all and that I believed in Him. I accepted His gift, His sacrifice.

If any doubt the bible and Jesus, if He lived or even why he died, just if but for a brief moment in your life, see this...documentary. What what happened 2000 to a man whom history knows existed. If you doubt His sincerity, look into the bruised face and the one eye that is still left open during the movie. Everywhere He went, despite the beatings, despite the flogging and unbearable pain, He kept one eye open, He saw people, and He loved them enough to keep going. He loved us. Jews did not put Him on the cross, people did. The fall of man did............sin did. There was, is and never will be anything we can do to make ourselves good enough or holy enough. Jesus did that for us. He made our pathway into heaven. He gave us that chance.

I will never be the same.......I never want to be the same......Jesus did too much for me. And I get to spend eternity with Him!!!!

I hope you all see it, even just once. And let God reveal to you the Love that was nailed to a tree 2000 years ago........for you.

May you all find the hope in Christ I have, may you see His love and may you accept His invitation to spend eternity...with Him!

Much love and affection,

Willow

Willow, thank you so much for sharing how the movies touched you and your heart. I wish there was a theater in my town so I could watch it. I guess I have to wait for the video.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
