4 billion-year-old diamonds found in Australia

Hmmm . . . I wish the article had explained how the scientists figured it was a diamond in the heart of the burnt-out star.

Not absolutely sure here, but as I understand it:

Stars like our own fuse hydrogen into helium. When this is exhausted, they become red giants, which then fuse helium into carbon and oxygen. Depending on their size, these may then collapse to leave the carbon and oxygen core. While still hot, carbon emission lines can be seen in a spectroscope from the star's light. The diamond will then be formed under the pressure of gravity, if the white dwarf is of the right size.

OK, I understand the reasoning, but I am not understanding how they figure the carbons joined together in one massive clump (separate from the other molecules) and solidified.

OK . . . but I am still not understanding what causes the pure carbon molecules to come together in the first place.

Nor me, exactly. Good question, to which I can't find a completely satisfactory answer without spending hours looking. However, there is plenty of carbon dioxide in the mantle, so this is an obvious source of carbon, and carbonates. Given the high pressures and temperatures, it's probably basic chemistry to lose the oxygen, and get carbon left over. Sorry, you'll have to consult a better geology text book than the one i've got. Mine doesn't cover it.

Perhaps . . . but that's the thing with this discovery.

By whatever it is "the experts" know, diamonds shouldn't be 4 billion years old! So why are they there? Something isn't the way we think it ought to be (or have been).

The sience of the bible (2) Isaiah 40:22, Proverbs 8:27, Job 26:10, Job 26:7, Are saying that the earth is round, like a ball, and 'floating' in the space (job 26:7)

That's old testament.

What about the new testament.

Luke 17:31,34, Luke 17:24 & 1 Corinthians 15:52

Read those text in combination... it is talking about a Round earth, with Day and nigth at the same time.

So the Bible Science, with is the truth, is proving what the Creation science is telling. And the Creation Science, is proving what the Bible science is telling.

The problem with the modern science is, we can only pretend to know things.. We all where thinking that Newton was right, until Einstein 'proves' that Newton was not excactly right.

Most people Believe Darwin was right, (the so called science) But the bible proves that God did create different kind of animals, and no macro evolution (micro evolution is another stroy )

The Creation Science does also prove that Darwin wasn't right

Evolutionism, think that evolutionism is proven by cytochrome C
