This needs to be answered from a Martin Luther protestant view and immediately pounce of Muhammed. Whom is like those pictures called saints, otherwise known as strange gods. Babylon is Rome and all nations under it, the pope is the king of kings as was Nabuchadneezer. Jesus Christ came to divide, not to bring peace on the earth.

I was just about to point this one out, but seeker beat me to it. I believe this originally spread through a chain email and has grown huge. My religion teacher told us this was true, while actually having a copy of the Koran in the classroom.

Actually Saddam started rebuilding Babylon. But I think that the New Babylon spoken of in the Bible is a symbolic word for the E.U. Which started out with just 4 nations in 1954, has grown to 28 nations today and has many more nations who want to join their economic block. They are now growing a military force and outside of their head quarters in Brussels is a statue or sculpture of a woman riding a bull and she has the bull by the horns
