I still stand by the conviction that when God's true judgment comes against America, Hollywood (immorality pormoter extraordinaire), San Francisco (gay capitol of the land), and Las Vega ("sin city") are going to crumble to the ground.

(And hopefully that Mormon Temple in DC will go bye-bye, too!)

Hey, let's not forget that Jesus came to SAVE the sinners, not to condemn them. Therefore that should be our attitude too.

yeah, but the offer of salvation is not eternal. They will eventually be judged by God. He will eventually condemn them. God's patience is not eternal.

Jeremiah 14:13 Then I said, "Ah, Lord God! Behold, the prophets say to them, 'You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine, but I will give you assured peace in this place.' " 14 And the Lord said to me, "The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart.

Isaiah 48:22 "There is no peace," says the Lord, "for the wicked."

In His Truth,

Suzanne

Let's remember that judgement starts in the house of the Lord.

I didn't know about the mighty Canadian navy! Thanks for the history lesson. I wonder why we ever got involved if they had 'em whupped?

So Russia fought Germany for a few years...but it was all over in a year when America came in? If America had little to do with it, why were we the ones who rebuilt Europe?

Who said that? I never said they had them whipped but Americans need to know about the sacrifices of other countries and not be so isolated and introverted in your thinking. America loves to boast but truth be told it was an allied effort that took the strength of all, not just America. America was a major help but for years it was the other allies who were making the sacrifices. If it weren't for them, America wouldn't have had a war to join. Churchill begged America to get into the war and they wouldn't do it until the last minute. Really, I think Chrurchill is the one who deserves the credit for the defeat of the Germans because when all looked hopeless, defeat looked imminent, and America refused to help, he stood his ground and gave his famous speech, "we will never surrender". If he had, Europe could have been lost forever to the Nazis and Germany would have been a superpower.

I was being a smarty-pants when I asked that rhetorical question.

Yes, Churchill was stubborn, eh?

And it took a united effort to stop the French from surrending. LOL

And the German-Russian front was the most brutal of the war. That is why we held up and let the Russians enter Berlin when we were ready to before them.

America's strength is found in her industry...in her people's goodness. When we no longer have BOTH of those we will cease to be a superpower

The French government had surrendered, but the French underground resistance never surrendered and was a vital tool to help the allies retake France.

I think you wholly underestimate French people. They are very intelligent and resourceful. I live in a French province of Canada which is in my opinion one of the best provinces, if not THE best, and the people are good people.

I'm sorry for that comment and humbly apologize for disrespect towards the French people. It was a joke but it does make other people the object of humiliation...and I repent.

:il:

Where would we be without France helping us beat the English in 1776?

What's funny about hating a symbol of a deceptively dangerous cult?

They seem pretty tame to me, I don't think they are very dangerous at all.

Any religion that leads people away from "Jesus Christ and Him crucified" (I Cor. 2:2), who rose from the dead and sits at the right hand of God, who will come again in power and in glory is deceptively dangerous.

It's just a beautiful building.

Yeah, and I guess the temples to Baal and Asherah and Dagon and Molech and the Egyptian gods and the Babylonian gods and the Greek gods and the Roman gods were all beautiful buildings too.

Good riddens to them all!

Hey, let's not forget that Jesus came to SAVE the sinners, not to condemn them.  Therefore that should be our attitude too.

Asking for the institutions to be destroyed isn't asking for the people to be destroyed, is it?

Sin is sin, and a false religion is a false religion.

And those who die apart from Christ Jesus will not enter Heaven.

I didn't make the rules, you know?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
