what is the force behinf natural selection???

Natural selection is the force. The fittest survive and reproduce fit offspring. What is "fit" basically means what can survive in a particular environment. When the environment changes, different individuals may become fit, that is, they will survive and reproduce more than the others, and they will come to dominate the population. In this way, living things keep pace with the environment. It's called adaptation.

If you want to know more, just about any biology book will be of help to you. And yes, we did evolve from apes. And yes, we are a special creation of God. This is certainly a minority opinion on this board, but not among most Christians the world over.

Then I would say God is a liar when He says HE made Adam from the dust of the earth! If God is a God that lies to His people than we cannot trust the word of God or the God of the word!!!

With out getting into phenotypes and such natural selection developed in the absence of a VALID THEORY.

This acts on the charecteristics of a organism being favorable , having the will to survive and reproduce.

Now we also have artificial selection as well.

When we as a intelligent race mind you, decide we also have the right to mess with molecular and genetic diversity we got super viruses, bombs, cloneing and nutz like Hiter trying to create a super race.

Yes we do have medicines as well....which also have created disasters.

When ones genetically altering fruitflys for years, a govrnment funded program in the armed forces, what do you suppose it is important for?

There is absolutely no genetic proof that we came from fish nor apes, When they think they are close a wrench is thrown in.

I Love Science, Biology....but in my 27 yrs of chrisianity I have only ran into maybe four christians who totally believe in evoltion to the fullest, no Pastors with this belief.

Yes..there are changes that have occurred from generation to generation due to environment,and survival of the fittest and who Our Lord God decides who stays and who goes. paricia1
