Where do you want me to be? Remember when I learned about putting on the armour of God? Did God laugh when I acted it out that morning as though I was putting on the helmet of salvation, the belt of truth etc? If yes, for how long? Why would you ask that question ? Hasn't He already saved you? Yes, but I am also ever conscious of how I have fallen short of the glory of God on many occasions. And actually, my response comes from a vision I had several years ago. I was asleep, when suddenly I was woken by the all-encompassing presence of Jesus. When I say all-encompassing, I mean just that. There was nothing else around me, or under me. Just Jesus. And me. His righteousness and His love, when compared to myself, struck me dumb. Literally. I looked at Him (or, rather, His feet), because I couldn't even bring myself to look up at His face. So great was the contrast between Him and myself. I was suddenly faced with the realization that my very life, and eternity, hung in the balance, and that my fate was in the hands of another. As I couldn't speak, I began to say over and over again in my mind, 'Lord, will you save me'......all the while not being able to look up at Him, but I knew that His eyes were upon me. After what seemed like an agonized eternity, He said just one word: 'Yes'. And in that moment, the weight of the world was lifted from me. A lot of people don't seem to realize, but it's true what is written in the gospels..........Jesus saves with just a word. And a lot of people don't realize that when all our defences are stripped away, our ultimate destiny depends on the word of one person. I'm pretty sure that if I was faced with the same scenario again, I would ask just one question, 'Lord, will you save me?'

When I look scripturally though, interactions with the Risen Christ have not really been like an informal sit down Q&A. We are talking about being face to face with the creator of the universe, I doubt there will be questions, Paul went blind and trembled. In addition I doubt we would in our current state, be able to understand His answers. This is a being that created quarks and black holes, He conceptualized that stuff, let alone the entire meaning of everything. I think Paul also discusses that, with basically the answer being the clay is not going to be asking the potter these kinds of questions. Anyway I don
