This just doesn't make sense.

WorthyNews article.

This so called Christian leader is not a Christian in my eyes. Any who deny the Jews any claim to Israel is no friend of Israel and is by nature a curse to Israel. I understand that many Catholics are Christians but just being Catholic does not make one a Christian. Catholicism is not, in my eyes, even a branch or sect of Christianity. Any person who rejects the Jews also reject Christ because he too was/is a Jew. He is King of the Jews!

He is also an enemy of God as well. God is a Zionist. Zionism is biblical. To reject the biblical claim the Jewish people have on the Land is to challenge God's integrity and basically call Him a liar.

Any person who rejects the Jews also reject Christ because he too was/is a Jew. He is King of the Jews!

It is not possible to hate the Jews while claiming to love the King of the Jews.

yes it does if you are a cathlic i use to be an orthadox croation cathlic and i am glad i denouned this and repented for what the cathlic church stands for this is all rubish and i am very sad by this as i have jewish freinds my grand father and the people in my village helped hide jewish familys when the german army was hunting them down to the point were my grand father and sevral men in my village i grew up in killed a few germans

even though my grandad was a strong orthadox croation cathlic he cared for people and had a good caring heart i love my grandfather which is my mothers father he was a jentle man who showed concern for those who strugled and would do what he could to help out

blame this on the roman church and the pope if any cathlics are reading this i am not bashing your faith as i said i use to be an orthadox croation cathlic my self so if you have any thing to say keep this off the boards and pm i will be happy to say why i pulled away from the cathlic faith as what i saw with in got me mad and i did not like what i saw

i am also human and i should be able to speak from the heart with out cathlics thinking i am bashing them i pray with spirit filled cathlics who have also pulled away from the cathlic church so i am not alone their are many in my partners country pulling away from the cathlic church its self and the cathlic church is not happy with the penticostal charasmatic christians in her country as people in the phillippines are starting to wake up to what the cathlic church stands for and are wanting nothing to do with what the cathlic church says

cathlics are repenting in my partners country and its just blown those that do pray with these cathlics who come seeking the truth the cathlic church it self has done so much damage but what has come to the surface so far i feel other things will also come to the surface it was wrong for the main church in rome to prottect those priests that molested the young boys in their care this even happend in my village

well this christian leader is going to get a shock when he is standing before god on judgment day as god is going to deal with him and nothing is going to be hidden how sad to say something like this

we should pray that this does not get out of hand were jewish people come under attack because of this stupid state ment

god bless from your brother in the lord damien stipic

Catholic leader rejects Israel's Jewish identity

Top Roman Catholic clergyman in Jerusalem slams definition of Israel as Jewish nation, says land must be shared by all religions. Latin Patriarch says Israeli-Palestinian conflict has unleashed 'forces of evil' across Middle East, conflict perpetuates because of Israel's 'unwillingness' to make peace

Israel's identity as a Jewish state discriminates against non-Jews, its top Roman Catholic clergyman said

''If there's a state of one religion, other religions are naturally discriminated against,'' Latin Patriarch Michel Sabbah told reporters at the annual press conference he holds in Jerusalem before Christmas. In his address, which he read in Arabic and English, Sabbah said Israel should abandon its Jewish character in favor of a ''political, normal state for Christians, Muslims and Jews.''

Sabbah denounced Israel's demand to be recognized as a Jewish state by the Palestinians and said "God made this land for all three of us, so a suitable state is one who can adapt itself to the vocation of this land.

''This land cannot be exclusive for anyone,'' he said, adding that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict had unleashed "forces of evil" across the Middle East and that it was Israel's obligation, as to end the warring. "The one who will decide is Israel. If Israel decides for peace, there will be peace

Yet Israel does no such thing. Christians and Muslims in Israel have more freedoms than anywhere else in the Middle east. Christian and Muslim holy sites are protected and both have the freedom to practice their faith openly and freely. Israel does not allow Christians to witness to Jews and some Christians delude themselves into thinking that it is merely against Christians that this law is applied and they fantasize that this amounts to persecution, but it is illegal for any religion to attempt to convert practicing Jews from Judaism to any other religion. Christianity is not being singled out, but is most noticebly affected as witnessing is a core mandate from the Lord.

Sabbah denounced Israel's demand to be recognized as a Jewish state by the Palestinians and said "God made this land for all three of us, so a suitable state is one who can adapt itself to the vocation of this land.
Actually none of that is true. God gave the Land solely to Abraham and his physical descendents. He did not give it to Christians or Muslims. God by means of an eternal covenant that is still in force names the Jewish people as the sole rightful owners/possessors of the Land of Israel. The earth is the Lord's. He made it and He can give it to whomever He pleases. God, by right of Creation, chose the Land of Israel to belong to the Jewish people. Any claim by Christians or Muslims to the Land of Israel is inferior.

Sabbah is a terrorist.

he was a friend of yassir arafat and that's all I need to know about him

This is nothing new from him. Using his demonic logic, Rome is not for Italians and Berlin is not for Germans.

How is it that every nation can have immigration laws which refuse entry to criminals except Israel?

Ok, got the right article this time...thanks.

Well, he represents the catholic church, so I guess we know now where the catholic church stands on this point.

Which causes me to remember another comment by a representitive of the catholic church. In Huckabees latest tv ad , a catholic official complained that a cross was being displayed in the ad....now why would a catholic complain about the cross being displayed??????

It would seem given these two very public examples that the catholic church has not changed it's positon towards jews and protestant christians. Makes me wonder if the folks at the vatican actually read the bible.

Wait a minute here.

This is very dangerous thinking. Our political beliefs about the secular nation state of Israel and the Jews who happen to live in Israel have NOTHING to do with our salvation. I worship Christ not the secular nation of Israel. Certainly no Christian can harbor hate in their heart for any group of people including Jews and I believe we should support Isreal. But to simply say that Christ should be welcome in Israel, that modern Judaism ( which is a false religion) should not be the state religion in Israel, I don't have a problem saying that at all. So how far do we go to deny Christ in order to please non-Christian Jews? I support Israel

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
