Dear Isa and Kitty , never doubt what Christ achieved on the cross through His blood . We were reconciled to God on that day People who say that the grace message is tooeasy and that we must do things in order to please God really do not understand the cost of the death of Christ . God is Love and he loves us so much that He knew even before He created us that Christ would have to die on that cross . Christ suffered so we would not have to and fine if one wants to believe that they can achieve salvation any other way than through the gospel of the dispensation of grace then let them continue but when someone believes in Christ as their Lord and Savior then they are immediately sealed by the Holy Ghost and Christs seed is in us God looks at each one and no longer are we alien to Him but each one of His saints are perfect in His eyes not our perfection but yhe perfection of His Son CHRIST WHO DIED FOR OUR SINS SO WE CAN REST IN HIS ASSURANCE AND HAVE PEACE IN THE LOVE OF GOD OUR FATHER. READ COLOSSIANS CH 1-3 AND GALATIANS 1 - 3 and EPHESIANS 3 AND KNOW THE LOVE OF GOD THAT YOU HAVE "NOW"

AND FOR ETERNITY

I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE WOULD WANT TO DENY THAT WE HAVE SUCH A LOVING GOD AND WANT TO PUY FEAR INTO OUR HEARTS BY CONSTANTLY GIVING THE IMPRESSION THAT GODS WRATH IS UPON US HE REALLY LOVES US THE ONLY QUESTION HE WILL ASK IS DO YOU BELIEVE IN MY SON ? OUR SINS ARE NO LONGER AN ISSUE AS FAR AS HE IS CONCERNED BECAUSE CHRIST HAS PAID IN FULL FOR MY SINS AND YOURS .

Hi onesiphorus

John 3:35,36

35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.

Dear Isa , Praise the Lord , yes we have so many promises in Christ , there is only one probleem I have with 1 john 1:9 and that is what would happen if we did not ask God to forgive us something then are we unforgiven . this is not andisagreement but i have never been able to equate what John preaches to what Paul preaches in Colossians2:12 , 13 &14 where he says that Godhas forgiven me "all " my trespasses . it might make me feel better but my salvation is based on Christs perfection and not on mine

peace and rest

Hi onesiphorus,

As Christians who have excepted the Lord as our savior through what He done for us on the cross, if we sin and not ask God to forgive us doesn't mean we are unforgiven. There is nothing that we can do that can change our salvation.

If we have unconfessed sin when the Lord comes our works are burned up and some of our works may survive the fire others may not but that doesn't mean our salvation is lost.

1 Corinthians 3:14-16

hello Isa , grace and peace to you , I firmly believe like you said that we have salvation thanks to the cross and the blood , and I only queried 1 John 1:9 because I have known so many saints burdened by the guilt laid on them by the erroneous teaching of this verse taught in isolation .

Galatians 2:7 states that the gospel of the uncircumcision was commited to Paul as the gospel of the circumcision was commited to Peter and in verse 9 James , cephas and John should GO ONLY TO THE . CIRCUMCISION . Johns epistle and his plea to confess sins is in response to Gods promises to Israel in Leviticus 26 :40 - 46 , part of the 5 courses of chastisement on Israel , the fifth phase of which is the tribulation

grace and peace

Hi Near,

The key is faith in Christ alone as your Lord and then knowing how to show that faith through our lives and following scripture to help us with that.

Prophecy is nice and interesting, but what will happen is going to happen. The fact is Prophecy has become a business in the US with hucksters all over the place with hidden revelations and meanings and complex theories and so forth.

Read what our Lord says, He addresses the end times in the book of Matthew, this is all you need. Revelation is a great book but it is a vision, and it is open to wide and different interpretations by Christians. The point of Revelation is to warn us and to help those Churches it was written to then and now, it is also a tremendously comforting book.

With faith we will all persevere regardless of what we believe about when Christ will return. Without faith it won't matter what we believe about the return.

these are words of great wisdom. Be faithful in all things, large and small and you won't have to worry

Personally, I think he has already risen and recently took control of the EU by way of the Lisbon Treaty signed last month.

No one noticed.

Well, speaking for myself, if the a/c doesn't get a move on and present him/itself before the end of 2008 or thereabouts, this old guy won't see him rise, but I will be with Lord in a different realm and I will surely see him fall.

I was kind of confused on this topic, because when I read Revelation, I am always wondering if we will be here when the AntiChrist comes and the One World Government rises. I think Armeggedon will begin when Gog Magog wages war with Israel (I think, lol).

If he is going to rise at the time of our being here, what will we do? I am really curious, I need to read Revelation though (again), lol, but any other insight is welcome!

Near

Near,

There is a great malentendu about what the Bible says about Antichrists. To get a clear understanding about this subject we must go to the Bible itself.

First, the word antichrist is only mentioned 5 times, in four places. This does not mean that other terms used do not fit the description.

Consider 1John 2:18-22, In these scriptures we are told that there are already, in John's day, many antichrists. Therefore there in no ONE antichrist. Notice that anyone who denies the Christ is an antichrist. 1John 4:3 says about the same thing. 2John 7 shows that the antichrists are deceivers.

So according to the Bible, which is the only Authority on religious truth, antichrist are here now and have been here since the first century. :24:

It is not a matter of either or. It is both The antichrist is coming, the sprit of antichrist is already here and active

Children, it is the last hour. And as you have heard, "Antichrist is coming," even now many antichrists have come. We know from this that it is the last hour.

Hi Eric,

I know His coming is soon because he says He is on the way and I know the evil one is already in the world, so whether it be while I am alive on earh or alive in spirit I know because my Savior lives I will also live. I won't see the evil one come into power, but I will see my Savior in all His glory and power.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
