I have been watching the news a little and wondering what is going on with Bush also..

I don't understand at all ...

As far as I'm concered the Palestinians have no right to the land of Israel. They're squatters in someone else's country with no more legitimacy than wandering gypsies who take over public parks.

No Jesus was a Jew who lived on His own Land. It was also His Land by virtue of the fact that Jesus was/is God. Don't even try to draw a comparison between Jesus and the Palestinians.

No doubt, he was an outcast though. And a squatter must fit under that category, no? Quite impressive really, that God would send his son not as a military commander who would vanquish Israels enemies, but as a carpenters son, who would eventually choose to become homeless.

Jesus was rejected by his fellow Jews but He was no squatter. He was born and lived on his Father's land.

NO, Jesus was not a squatter despite being rejected by the leadership in Israel at that time. You are trying force something to be true that isnt.

Jesus first coming was as savior. Jesus had a specific purpose in first coming that dealt with the problem of sin. God always begins in dealing with our problems from the inside out.

Jesus, however, IS returning as a military commander if you will. He is returning as King Messiah and according to Zechariah 14 is going to destroy the armies of the nations who seek to destroy Israel. Jesus is a lamb but He is also a "mighty man of war" according to the Word of God. Jesus will one day vanquish all of Israel's enemies and will reign from Jersualem on David' throne.

So just because it didn't happen during the first coming does not mean it will not happen.
