I want to tell you something that happened to me in September. I started drinking a lot maybe two years ago and I'd had enough. My life had changed drastically because of my life style. Every night that I wouldn't drink weird things would happen. At first I would feel someone sit on the bed and snuggle up to me. Then it went to someone snuggling up to me and shooting what I think is energy into me. I use to jump out of bed screaming every night until I'd say forget it and go back to drinking. Then one day it didn't matter any more I couldn't keep drinking. I didn't want to feel the negative emotions I felt any more.

Anyway, I'd decided to deal with the nightly visits rather then drinking myself to death. This is so weird to me. As soon as I'd closed my eyes I guess I would fall a sleep, because I would feel what ever it was snuggling next to me and I would open my eyes and this little boy would be laying next to me watching me. People believe that Satan is this ugly monster, but this little thing wasn't. He was absolutely beautiful. The only thing that marred its beauty was its eyes. It's eyes was black and held so much hatred. (this thing hated me.)

That continued to happen for a few weeks until one night after it snuggled up to me and I opened my eyes it attacked me and I fought it off. I remember I ran to the door and looked back and it scratched me across the face. I woke up and ran weeping down my steps and fell to my knees in my kitchen. I prayed, no I begged Jesus to make him stop. I told him if it ever happened again it would kill me and I meant it. I have never been so afraid in my life. Jesus answered my prayer because I haven't seen that little demon since, but I do still see these things on my wall ever now and then. They look like spiders, but their not. Their black, hairy with a lot of legs. Sometimes their half way into the wall and when they see that I'm awake they would disappear into the wall. At least most of them would, some of them, the bigger ones would sit there for a little while. Its almost as if its telling me I'm not afraid of you.

Any way after the attack I ran myself back to church and have been there ever since. What the devil planned to keep me a slave to sin, Jesus used to show me the way home again. I will confess that I am still afraid at night. I know I shouldn't be, but I can't help it. A few nights ago I was watching The Gospel According to John and there was this voice that was micmicking the people in the movie. If feels like Jesus has limited what he can do, but haven't totally removed him from my life. Maybe I'm suppose to strengthen my faith by overcoming my fear? I don't know, I just know that I'm sick and tired of Satan and his little friends. :suspect:

God Bless

Jacqueline

Hey, Jacqueline!

Sounds like you are experiencing a bit more manifested version of what I grew up with. For longer than I can remember (litterally), I would always see things in the dark. Normal objects would become monsters to my eyes. I was in fear every night. When I was 3 years old - I remember this clear as day - one of these monsters (which my natural mind knew was only a pile of assorted things on my parent's dresser, but I could not get over what I was now seeing), actually turned and looked at me from its sideways position!

I never "grew out" of this fear. As I grew older and become more knowledgeable, I could tell you that this fear was not natural. This fear was not a feeling. I felt fear as if this fear where a presence. There is no control over this type of fear. It's like walking into a room with a heavy atmosphere - you just "feel " it -the same way your skin feels cold, your soul/spirit feels the presence of fear.

But since I had become a Christian, I would always fight it (I became a Christian early on in life). How? Praise. Whenever the lights were out, I would sing praise and worship songs. I didn't understand demons too much, but I figured that if there were any monsters there, they wouldn't want to be around the praise of Jesus!

For starters, that is one thing you can do. Before the lights go out, put on a praise and worship CD - not too loud that it keeps you awake, but loud enough to be able to focus your mind on it as you are falling asleep.

The other thing to do is taking authority over the demons. Counsel like this over the internet is tough. But if you have ever been involved in anything that might have opened yourself to these demons which you have not yet repented of (I mean, confessed this thing to the Lord by name, telling Him you did it, rejecting it, and asking for His forgiveness and cleansing, and then turning the consequences over to Him). If there are any objects in your house that are Wiccan or idolotrous, they need to be removed from your house. Specifically think of anything that happened prior to these manifestations. You need to ask the Lord to reveal to you if there is anything you need to repent of or reconcile or deal with in any way.

Having "cleaned house" in your soul and in your physical sourroundings, stand on your authority in Christ. (You have surrendered Your life to Jesus haven't you?) Jesus said He gave us the authority over the demons. You don't need a fancy show. Just say, "Demons, I belong to Jesus. You have no authority over me. He gave me the authority to have command over you. Now, I am commanding you to leave. Get out of my house now!" (and say it like you mean it!)

Keep praising and keep focusing on Jesus. Keep commanding them out until they leave. Even if you get doubts in your head or the fear intensifies - that's just them testing your authority - keep it up! Any guilt - repent and get it out of the way, Any weakness - it is not by your strength but the strength of Christ Jesus. Think of this as a group of children who just won't obey - get tough until they do as they are told!

If you can find someone to pray with you, it will help. But even if not, just keep at it.

God bless, and I am praying over you!

I know that I brought this on my self. I was doing a lot of things that I knew I shouldn't do. I even had that game where you put your hand on the plastic thing and ask the broad questions. I trashed that game right after going back to church. I remember having to pay $200.00 dollars for one phone call that I made to a psychic. That was just one. I use to call them all the time. That stop. I grew up in a home that had two ghost and I use to talk to them. I would ask the little girl for help every once in a while and she would actually help. I didn't realize that ghost is just another name for demon. My whole life has been a battle between the supernatural and what we know as normal. Anyway thank you for the advise and the prayers. :)

God Bless

Sure!

Now - have you made verbal confession/repentance of these things to Jesus yet?

If not - please do so ASAP!

There are pastors who will help you too.

What about leaving the praise and worship CD going all night? If you have a continuous play cd player.

That's a wonderful idea artsylady and it does work.

We have the CD of The Passion of the Christ and a lot of times we play it to go to sleep by.

We've been doing this ever since we got the CD.

Some nights I forget to turn it on though and when I do I notice a big difference not only in how peaceful I felt, but also in my quality of sleep.

In Jesus Love,

Kitkat ;)

I have a friend, who had an experience a little bit like this, but a little different also. She was just dozing off to sleep, and her husband was already asleep on the other side of the bed. She had a "visitor", if you will, that was attempting to get personal with her in an intimate way. She could not see anything, but she could feel it. She called out to Jesus and it stopped, then she woke her husband and told him about it. It was frightening to say the least, and this friend is very credible. I believe what she said really happened, and she is also a little more in tune in the discernment area than some people are.

Jacqueline, I agree with the many things Neb has said, I add just a few things and that is, when you take authority over these demons be sure and tell them they have to leave in Jesus name. They must obey and leave in the name of Jesus. You may have to keep telling them time after time for a while until they know that you want them to go. You also have to want them to leave and it sounds like you do. Do renounce the many things you have done in the occult world and ask Jesus to forgive you for them.

I opened many doors of the occoult when I was younger. I've seen demons. When I got saved I still walked in fear and the demon visits seemed to be more and more. As the Lord started showing me thru his Word, men and women in Christ and the Holy Spirit that I have authority, I became free!!!!

I agree with nebula.

Jacqueline pray with me right now and anyone else who open doors to the occult.

Holy Father, I trust you. I know that I'm forgiven for all my sin. I thank you that the Blood of Jesus clenses me. Your word says you didn't give me a spirit of fear but of love joy and of sound mind. I recieve it!!

I openly denounced every single occult activity I have taken part of in the name of Jesus. I now take the authority by the blood of Jesus that you have given me in your word.

Satan!! I take authority over you. I have been bought with THE BLOOD OF JESUS. and there is no other name above that name. You must leave me and my house in the name of Jesus. For it is written "Submit yourselves then to God, Resist the devil and he will flee from you" I resist you now!!!!!!!!

Thank you Holy Father for the authority of Jesus you've given me, but I rejoice in you because YOU WROTE MY NAME IN HEAVEN!!!! Reveal to me your will and if there be anything in my life that is not pleasing to you, make it known.

In the Holy name of Jesus..Amen.

YOU ARE FREE!!!!!! Whom the Son sets free is FREE Indeed!!!!!

Now walk in your freedom Jacqueline!!!!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
