Scientific evidence for Noah's flood

I never claimed that diamonds formed at the bottom of marianas trench. I said it formed at exactly where u mined them, deep in the earth's crist here molten lava temperatures can reach what is needed to synthesize diamonds.

I am content to know that it is possible. my faith is that simple.

Please see your posts # 165 and 170 and explain why you bothered to raise the issue of the "tremendous" pressure at the bottom of the global flood. Thanks.

So far as a practicing geologist I have seen no evidence and have been presented no scientific evidence that the flood of Noah was anything other than a regional flood. I believe it was universal in that it effected all mankind but I do not believe it was global. Since at the time man was located in one geographic region in Mesopotamia it is possible that the flood was the "Black Sea" flood or even further back in time could have been the flood of the mediteranean sea. At one time the Mediteranean was a dry valley and the conditions would have been exactly as Genesis points out as before the flood. When the headland at Gibralter broke and let in the Atlantic ocean the resulting updraft of moist air would have caused torrential rain that could have lasted months. The pressure against the shores of Africa and Egypt would have caused a sudden gushing of water from the earth just as it says in Genesis.

So, if you believe that the flood of Noah was global please give it your best shot. Keep to the facts and don't call names.

What discussion. There appears to be no discussion. Give made specific claims, I tried to review the math to suggest that his claims did not support him. His basic response seems to be "Who cares, does not matter, I believe what I believe". Where is the discussion there?

If someone shows me that I am wrong I am the first to look again at what I think and the basis for that thinking. If my math is wrong show me, me and give--one of us is wrong on the real world. I don't think it is me.

Want to discuss something else about Noah, the ark, the flood--fine but please no diamond formation as a result of the flood's water pressure.

Surely you understand that my point was not about the "discussion" (however real or perceived) but the jab itself. The jab was real enough.
