What to call those who dont know Jesus?

Ive noticed a trend for awhile now, to call those who do not know Jesus by terms that quite frankly seem too cutesy or PC to me. Among them are "pre-saved" and "not yet redeemed." Im curious what you all think about using terms like these instead of the lost or unbelievers. My view, as is already apparent, is that the terms are not something I agree with. It seems to assume that either everyone gets saved, or lessens the truth about their state before God. What are your thoughts? For those who use the terms, why do you use them? No judging here, Im just interested in this new trend Im seeing.

Well, my first thoughts on this is those souls were no different than us before we knew God and Jesus. I would think that it would depend greatly on their hearts and minds. If they purposefully reject God and speak against HIS commands and Words, I just collectively call them "of the secular world." But this is a valid question since none of us know what plans God has for others in their lives. And the very souls who blaspheme God and cuss him now out of anger, may one day be on their knees defending HIM many years later. But I always give all present day non-believers the benefit of the doubt since even they don't know the Power of God and what plans GOD has for them in their lives.
