This is the first I have heard of their "Mahdi." Looks like it's gonna be pretty bumpy from here on out.

Perry Stone wrote a book called "Unleashing the Beast", it covers the rise of the Mahdi to come. As I watched the news this morning they showed a clip of Osama bin "Mohammad "Laden, I have to laugh at the added name, I looked at him and the thought crossed my mind that I could be looking at the anti-christ. I don't even know where that came from. Just as we are looking for the Lord's coming the events so coincide with the events of the coming Mahdi. Well this is the year that things that were hidden will be revealed, so I guess we are the blessed generation that needs to know these things.I don't think Osama is the Mahdi, for one reason, too many muslims are declaring and trying to align there lives with the Koran so they will be acknowledged by the muslim world. I don't think the one coming will have to make such an effort. But I do not know, all I know is we need to snatch as many out of the fire as we can, because it won't be long before the last trumpet sounds and the judgements of God really come down. What He is doing now is nothing compared to what He is about to do . I am so thankful we serve the One true God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who sent us His only Son, Jesus, and in Him there is peace. There are are only two true witnesses on the earth who proclaim this, Jews and Christians, and together God is forming the whole Body of our Lord. We are not whole without them and they are not whole without us, neither of us are whole without Him, Jesus Christ, our true Messiah. I'm so glad you made it known to all by posting the truth of the Mahdi, we can not be ignorant in these final days. God bless

I posted here a while back on a dream thread that I had a dream in 2001 that the king of Jordan was assasinated..weird.

Here is the info I have on the Mahdi, I have posted it on different threads here too. With the news today of Bin Laden trying to make a deal with the EU for peace, I think Perry Stone is right on target. I have read "Unleashing the Beast" very informative book, most of this material is from that book:

The false prophet Mohammad is a direct decendant of Ishmael It is amazing that they claim to believe in the Torah and Daniel and knowing that the devil never had an original idea, they are taught the bible in reverse. The Koran eerily has many of the same end time prophesies as our Bible, except I believe their role is the antichrist role described in the Bible.

They believe:

*They are waiting for a messiah, he is called the Mahdi, he will cause the whole world to convert to Islaam or be killed.

*He will appear just before the end of the world in a time of great tribulation.

*He will seize Turkey through force.

*After uniting all of Islaam he will take over the entire world in the name of Islaam.

*There will be great prosperity including gold and silver for his followers.

*After this is accomplished the Mahdi will rule for five, seven or nine years, depending on which tradition is followed, different Muslims believe differently.

*The end of the world will come followed by the judgement of Allah.

Let's compare--Mahdi will unite the Muslim world------------antichrist will unite 10 kingdoms(Rev. 17:12)

Gold and silver ------------antichrist will honor his god with gold and silver Dan.11:38

will rule 5,7 or 9 years ------------antichrist will rule for 7 years Dan. 9:27

Mahdi will come from the east -------------antichrist will be great toward the east Dan. 8:9

Perry Stone interviewed a Muslim man asking him how he would describe the end of the world. Note: These are the beliefs of a Muslim, these are not facts and this is not our Jesus.

He said:

There will come several prophets claiming to be prophets in the name of Allah, but they will be false, we are warned not to follow them. They will work in line with the antichrist. He will point people to the Mahdi, and will kill the Jews and tell the Christians to forsake the idea of the Trinity and forsake the Cross. Islaamic justice will rule the earth. Well there we have the antichrist riding on the white horse with a bow and no arrow, a crown of a conqueror--Rev. 6:2

We read that the ten horns are 10 kings who have not yet received a kingdom, so we are not talking about 10 Kings and/or 10 countries. They have not yet received a kingdom so are we looking at something else here?

But, who for one hour (brief period of time?) receives authority as kings (notice "as kings") along with the beast?

13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful."

One more thing, the one who will come saying he is Jesus will not have the nail scars on his hands or feet. I want to go to Israel with Perry Stone this year. If I go with anyone I want to go with someone who not only knows the bible and history, but someone who God is opening doors to reveal these things to us. I believe He is doing that with all of us who are really seeking Him not to just know something, but to be more intimate with Him.It all seems like a dream, like reality isen,t what we are seeing at all. I almost feel as if I am in two places, here on this earth and with my Father God. Does that make any sense? Like I am only a witness to these events not a participater. I sound really crazy, sorry. I am fearfully excited at what God is doing and what He is about to do, amen!!! Ps. 103 & 104, OPEN DOORS TO PRAISE HIM MORE!!!!!! you may be right, but I think if the devil can transform as an angel of light he could probably put some fake scars in his hands and feet. Remember, the Muslims believe He was crucified, just don't believe He is the Son of God. Be alert!

Muslims believe "some clone" (lookalike?) was crucified, not the true Jesus (or at least that's what the Qur'an says).

Also the issue of unknown stars is lately highlighted among jihadists such as the news of March 15 about distant unknown galaxies and information about new stars. The new star is explained by the jihadists as the discovery of a new planet.

New things are being discovered out there all the time! Which one will be the star they are looking for?

Goodness - a star too dim for the naked eye to see could go supernova and appear as a "new" bright star - but it will really be just an old star that died (astronomy-speak). And that is not a new phenomena. And it eventually dims.

Or new planet? In our solar system or or another? The only "planets" being found are actually too small to be real planets.

Unless they mean Planet X - and don't even get me started on that nonsense!

Nebula, wasn't there a recent find of a mass just beyond Pluto? I hadn't heard if it had substantial mass to be considered a planet or not...I believe it was smaller than Pluto.
