I Have Wondered

I have wondered where the US fits into end time prophecy. Will we exist during the 7 years? Or is it possible there will be some sort of "World War 3" before the 7 years begin, that will nuke us right out of existance? I've heard various nations are mentioned in the prophecies such as Russia, China, etc. Any thoughts on where America is at in the picture? The Bible seems silent on the subject, so perhaps we are gone. Or maybe there are some verses I am unaware of.

I am of the mind that we will remain. We may not look anything like what we look like today but we will be here. Again only my opinion.

Let me expound for a minute as well.

The Bible speaks about a One World system based loosely upon Economics and the brittle behavior of man and not so much Military might as in the past. In the past this one world system was tried by many a civilization to include the Romans. The Bible speaks prophetically about a revised Roman Empire. Rome was the last viable One World system. There were three prior. Babylon, Medo Persia, Greece, and then the fourth, Rome. Which has broken apart but remains in the Western Nations and their power base even to this day, again my opinion.

There is a current push on for Socialism even in this Nation. We also see a world wide push for this Global Village nonsense. It is evident in common markets and the Economics of Global Trade and the new smaller world being pushed by Multi National Corporations. Their ever incessant push for profit leads them to Global Markets as a way to increase their market share and base. This will continue because it is these Corporations that drive the economies of the world and these economies are headed by men funded by and large by these profits.

The Bible speaks about this one world system based upon Trade and even a system in place in which an individual will have to leave behind even his individuality and pledge feality to this system just so he might survive. The Bible also reminds us as Christians that this new Kingdom or One World Government, which is really an old one, is not our home and that we should reside here lightly understanding that we are now Children of Heaven and that God is our provision. That we are here as nothing more than sojourners. That when we see these things coming upon the earth that we are to Love God more and cling to Him while rejecting the ways of man.

Will the U.S. exist? Yes but as a larger piece of a Global Government. We are essential to this economic system. We are the single largest consumer of mercantile goods that this system is selling, as a light and temporary placebo to life, and we will remain as an intergal part of this system, IMO.

Will we remain the worlds largest and most powerful Superpower? I doubt it, currently we are selling ourselves out to this One World system in a fit of Socialism. We are pledging Feality to this system through our desire to hold onto something we think and feel we need at the cost of our Historical condition as set forth by God. America is no mistake, we blessed God and God blessed us. Now we are busy rejecting God and marginalizing His Word and so we will become something less than what we have been and more like a citizen of this Global Village.

At what cost?

Back to the Word though. God is describing a One World system of man in His Word at the end times. This system is opposed to God's very own plan.

Who do you think will win?

America won't escape this Judgement as we see the whole world in Scripture united against the coming of the Kingdom of God.

We will remain, the question is what will your witness be in the midst of all this? Will you be like Daniel and his three friends? God talks about an outpouring of His Spirit in the latter days and we must be ready to receive it. Our focus must them be on God and His plan. This is revealed in Christ. So we best get about our relationship with Him and Loving Him because it's the only way we will see through the fog and cling to our Lord.

Zec 14:12 And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem:

Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet,

Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets,

And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.

who's to say if America will be among those who come against Jerusalem and in which manner is the Lord speaking...does a nation have to physically fight against Jerusalem and is Jerusalem in this sense a city or is it a people?

What if, or could it be possible: That America is related to Revelation 13:11?

lets see,

there will be 10 kingdoms? or regions?

1. United Arab Emerents, (UAE) the middle east

2. Europe being united as a group

3. North American Free Trade A.....(Canada, USA, Mexico, also bringing a super highway right up to Kansas City from Mexico) (NAFTA)

4. South America

5. what use to be called the United Soviet Socialist Republic, we still have the same thing, just different name. this could end up being two vice one.

6, the Far East

7. Africa.

8. not sure where Australia and this area would fall under, of if it might be a region of its own with the other islands that are in the area.

all falling under a single head of government over the entire world THE UNITED NATIONS..... the U.N. is pretty much the head government of the earth right now, not much is done with out the approval of the U.N.

there have been cases where USA military members have had to wear the insignia of the United Nations.....

I refuse, for I did not sign up for the U.N. nor did I sign any papers saying I would defend the U.N. or that I would submit to the U.N., I did not even say I pledge myself to the U.N. for anything...... nope, i joined the United States Navy, not the U.N.

anyways, i believe the USA will still be part of the events that will be on going through out the end times.....might even be a prominent player/participant......

we do not have every thing to our knowledge or wisdom that will be happening, there is much that is not written, and has not been divulged.....
