Was Adam with Eve in the Garden when she ate

Sorry, I have been sick all day, so I didn't see this till just now.

The statement was made before the fall. "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh."

Why do you not see the created order if Man and Woman in the garden and thus the order of roles in their relationship?

1 Timothy 2

11 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.

Created order happened before the fall of man.

If Adam was not responsible for his wife's actions, she would have had her own separate punishment, not connected to his. God would have accepted Adam's accusations of "the wife you gave me". But because she took the leadership role and he shirked his responsibility she was given this admonition...

Genesis 3

Your desire will be for your husband,

and he will rule over you."

Because of Adam's lack of leadership in his relationship to the woman he was told this...

17 To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,'

"Cursed is the ground because of you;

through painful toil you will eat of it

all the days of your life.

You see, the things that happened during creation are not separate from what is happening now, they are not exclusive, they are a precursor. Everything God did in the forming of man, the creation of woman, a helpmete for man, everything lead up to their fall. He knew it was going to happen. He knew what things would be like for us. So he set up what was needed when things were perfect. So we would have some sort of understanding as to how things should be. Could be. He gave us a reference point. Adam and Eve ruined it! It's all about our relationship to God and our relationship to each other. Man is head of the woman, just as Christ is head of the Church. That has always been and always will be. Until Christ returns for his bride.

I hope you start feeling better. In verse 3:16 it is said that eve gives the fruit to her husband. Thus He was subject to the same rules that had later been written down. Also in this account is "lest you die"

Since adam and eve are seen as one, and they are both called Adam by God. The eve and adam thing is put there but in the Hebre it would have just said adam which means from the ground.

At this time as well beyond other things they had not ever been actually seperated from God.
