in conclusion:

surely, god has never, nor will ever force his believers to receive a physical implant/mark in order to convey to others that they belong to him. likewise, satan will not force people to receive a physical mark. this would also thwart his plan of deception, as this process would be too obvious.

i also think it could prove to be detrimental to believe satan's mark will be a physical one, being forcibly administered in a public scenario. this would cause believers to anticipate an event that will never happen, and more importantly, even cause some to evaluate their current place in the end-time calendar, therefore perhaps causing spiritual lukewarmness (e.g. "oh, we haven't been forced to receive the mark of the beast yet, so christ's return must be further down the road").

for me (and i know i'm not the only one), i sometimes have the ability to somehow "know" or sense who is a believer in christ and who isn't. this spiritual polarization that is occurring could be happening because god and satan are requiring their servants to choose a side, therefore beginning to administer their mark right now. it is possible that we are already in the beginning stages of receiving the spiritual marks. jesus' return may well be closer than we have imagined.

Nope, no physical marks, implants being forced on someone could not be considered simply because we are all given the choice to whom we serve....makes no sense that a forced implantation would be the mark of the beast since people must choose their master.....

Both of these marks are to be administered during the 7 year tribulation. The Mark of the Beast will be given for the word tells us that we will not be able to buy or sell without it. The 144,000 are to be sealed by God as His words tells us. These will happen, or His word is not true.

the whole of Revelation is pictorial, not to be taken in a literal physical sense. If so then none of it makes sense and makes much of prophecy regarding end time and scripture not true...IMO

these thoughts OneLight come from a place of too much false assumptions and teachings that have been passed on through the recent generations....

You should read a very good book called "The False Prophet" by Ellis H. Skolfield...it is very enlightening and has taken the fine points of prophecy from Daniel and from Revelation that tie directly to sound historical fact and time lines that cannot be dismissed if one is truely searching for the truth.
