Squirrel is good eatin,,,don't know about the pate though.

red squirrels are a pain though, the Fox, Grey and Black squirrels are better.

Reds here in ohio are also known as chickories...small bothersome little critters hardly with the shot.

My Kentucky relatives eat squirrels; I tried it once but, since learning they were rodents, I've decided it's no better than eating rats! :th_praying:

Yeah, and you gotta just love bitin down on buck shot!

Not if you use steel shot. :) Then you can remove the shot with a magnet. :( <clink!>

Great thing about Cajun food is that it doesn't matter what kind of meat you use in many cases. Just blast it, and toss in the pot!
