I'm not religious. What would you say. I would reply " I am not religious either, I am a Christian though. I am sorry i had my music up too loud, i will turn it down for you, i hope it hasn't disturbed you too much, Please dont hesitate to let me know if i have it up too loud in future." certainly we are entilted to do anything we like within the privacy of our own home etc, however once that starts to disturb or effect your neighbours then obviously it is not right to continue it. If you played your music too loud too many times in UK, you could have your equipment confiscate and having to go to court and pay a huge fine. Christian music or secular music is not the issue. If it is loud enough to be bothering someone else, it's too loud. It also is not a good witness. If they were playing music, would you want to hear it? I have been on the end of this, for literally years, and it is pure agony to be subjected to someone elses music, at all hours of the day and night, have absolutely no control over it, and know that they knew it bothered us and simply didn't care. Be gracious, turn it down, and make sure it does not bother them anymore. Right- Regardless of whether they extend the courtesy to you, you are a representative of Christ. Do unto them as you would have them do unto you-even if they don't 'do unto you' in return.
