Tell me what you found "silly" about my comment. I've read the entire article, with exception to the blather about his career, and find nothing to convince me that ID has been somehow disproven. Am I to assume that you believe it has?

Firstly that you consider the scientist to be "arrogant," and secondly the researcher said nothing of when males and females came into existence as you implied when you said, "...this scientist is supposed to be able to tell us how and when this occured?" You do know that aldosterone & cortisone != (not equal to) estrogen & testosterone, right? Well maybe you didn't. Let this be a learning experience for you, then.

I read the entire article and have put it in my favorites to refer back to as i have many questions.

However, if someone could be of help here....How do they know when " aldosterone " evolved. If I'm not mistaken, what is being discussed are intricate, complex chemical reactions within an organism. Just how do you discover when and how these chemicals would have evolved???

I found this man's work fascinating; he seems to be on his way to being a very important scientist. The idea that the receptors could be resurrected from ancient material was especially interesting. While I have great respect for someone as brilliant as this, it still doesn't prove the evolution of man. This is theory, a good one too, but still a theory.

To quote Mr. Thornton:

"If those little changes had never occurred, we might have ended up with a very different biology from the one we have today,"

Sorry, brilliant though he is, we are exactly what the Lord made us; a perfectly planned and executed creation. There is nothing random about any of God's creatures.
