thomas touched scars perhaps. Does not say Jesus still has them... What if it was just for thomas' benefit they were there. :whistling:

step by step ~ according to Matt.

  1. Angel announced Jesus risen from the dead 28:7
  2. Appears to mary and mary magdeline 28:10
  3. 11 disciples saw Him 28:16 some doubted some worshipped 28:17
~ according to Mark

  1. Jesus risen 16:6
  2. Mary Magdeline sees him (jesus) 16:9
  3. appeared in another form 16:12
The word for form here is Y*shuw'ah meaning without distress, in good health, victorious.

4.appears to the 11 16:14

5.He was recieved up into heaven 16:19

The same in Luke except for lack of believing, Peter ran to the tomb.... and at the end of chapter 24

Jesus walks with them talking to them without Their knowledge, They did not recognize him and I do not think he were holden.. I think they were not expecting to see Christ look so good...

  1. .He ate meat and broke bread Luke 24:30
  2. the Lord is risen " " 34
  3. He ate again after showing them his hands and feet Luke 24:40-43
  4. Jesus carried up to heaven " " : 51
In John he appears twice...the 1st day and eight days later.

Now what I want to ask someone to describe how He looks now!!! There is a account of Christ in revelations.

There are many examples of angels appearing to man, in Genesis 19:3 the angles ate food that Lot prepared.

Genesis 19:1 Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground.

2 And he said,

I need to clarify what I previously posted, if you look at 1Corinthians 15:50 it states that corruption dose not inherit incorruption, the key word in the verse is inherit, and since this is corralated with flesh and blood not inheriting the kingdom of God it becomes evident that it is not through our physical bodies that we inherit the kingdom of God,( or recieve our spiritual bodies), but through the Spirit we inherit the kingdom of God.

Quote from Heresyhunter:

1Cr 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

The Apostle Paul states that the body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption, this begs the question, who is the Apostle speaking to? Believers or unbelievers? The obvious answer has to be believers, and if you read the chapter and those before and after its clear.

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. 43 It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. 44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written,

I am adding another post, because the previous posts did not cover the whole subject, in Matthew 17:2 Jesus was transfigured, now this was his previous state, before taking on the physical body that his apostles and those around Him saw, but he was manifested in the flesh, and He took on flesh, but there are other manifestations of other spirits such as angles who appear as men, is this just revealed to us in a form that we can identify with, or are some created like we are in the image of God? There are definitely some angles that are described as having other forms, such as is found in the book of Revelations :And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. 8 The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:

The question seems pretty straightforward. Of all the people who have ever claimed to have found physical remains of Christ, none of them can agree on the details, or even publish a semi-reliable piece of literature on the subject.

Could they be talking of John 20:16-17?

Jesus said to her, "Mary!"

She turned and said to Him, "Rabboni!" (which is to say, Teacher).

Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.'"

Could it be that Jesus did not want her to touch Him because He had not received His full physical body yet?

What if it had something to do with cleanliness/holiness?

I interpret this as Jesus telling Mary that even though joyful and excited, He still had much business with the Father.

He knew her sorrow and showed compassion by showing up to cheer her up. But didn't need to delay in His business with the Father.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
