This can help you figure out what the other person will say next. Have you ever noticed that allot of people voice an opinion during a conversation that have not been asked a question. Further, if you keep silent, often any questions you may have are usually answered if you allow the other person to just keep talking. Actually , staying quiet can be fun...practice it for awhile, you may be surprised at the reactions you get.

Can anyone give me some common sense basics? Thanks The only time you shouldn't speak is if what you want to say has sinful intentions (like cursing at someone) or if it would offend another Christian. Just pray about it I have been praying about it and I will continue to pray about it because I feel like I goof almost everyday. The less you speak, the more you hear. This can help you figure out what the other person will say next. Have you ever noticed that allot of people voice an opinion during a conversation that have not been asked a question. I do that because I'm afraid I'm going to forget what I was going to say before the other person finishes. If you are mentally preparing your response while the other person is still talking...................you talk too much. I'm so guilty of this! I am also guilty and in turn I miss what the other person is saying. I do notice when I goof so I am praying with time I will get better.

Is it true? Is it necessary? I'm sure there is more to it than that but those are good basic rules to bear in mind.

I will have to keep that one in mind.

However, I am getting better at not talking so much...it's hard but worth the effort!!
