Scriptures indicate to me that possibilities are infinite.

So if you jumped out a window and wanted to fly, you could? It could be possible but not probable.

If I hadn't fried my computer yesterday I would quote some scripture for you . But as it is I am currently using the school computers and don't have a bible with me. I would think that athiests would hold to the idea that all is as it seems and there's nothing else. If you want to adhere to the realm of probabilities, we probably shouldn't even exist,

As far as I KNOW, tree rings are a constant.

As humans, we must make do with what we know.

So, if you accept that tree rings are formed annually and that this rate has been stready throughout time, then what prevents you from accepting that radioactive decay has been going at a steady rate throughout time? Please give me a reasoned response rather than making a vague and irrelevant claim about the fact that the Earth has undergone changes. No one disputes that the Earth has changed.

I didn't say totally inaccurate. However I would say that a lot of scientific deduction is based on assumption.

Assumptions are a neccessary part of human reasoning.
