There are a lot of people that believe that believe that there are many ways to heaven, but, if you are one of these, what is your reasoning. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. Nobody can come to the father except through me"

So what is the reasoning?

Beloved, You Might Want To Request This Be Moved To The Outer Court Where Nonbelievers Can Reply........

:24:

Yes And Amen

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:17-18

Although, according to recent poll numbers, an increasing number of believers are coming to the conclusion that there is more than one way to God.

Well, brother, they may call themseves believers, but they are believing a lie if they think that as well as coming to a wrong conclusion. IMO, that is.

some even believe that a person does not have to believe in Christ what so ever..... or even in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.....

during a discussion about some of the natural disasters and the numbers of people killed, a comment was made that a person was saddened about all the lost souls...... another spoke up and said, how do you know that they are not in heaven, because they have a lot of good people there, just because they do not believe the same way we do.... ( this was from an elder in that church fellowship)

even in the USA, most teens ( in the neighborhood of 75% ) do not believe that Christ is the only way, and even few have a relationship with Him......

as was stated above, THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO THE FATHER, AND THAT IS THROUGH THE SON,

we can not do it by works, being good does not do it....

there is more then one way to commit murder......... a young man came to Christ and asked Him what he must do to gain eternal life...... Christ replied that he must keep all the commandments.... the youngman stated all these he has kept since his youth..... Christ then told him he still lacked somehting, told him to sell all he had and give to the poor.... the man walked away saddened... for he was very wealthy..... well, by not giving to those that are in need, when you have plenty, or even an over abundance, you might just be depriving some one else of live, in essence causing death upon their physical body..

no we can not feed each and every person on this earth..... OR CAN WE?!?!?!?!

what did we do prior to social security and welfare?

THE CHURCH TOOK CARE OF HER OWN..... AND OTHERS AS WELL.......

there is no way we can get to heaven on our own, that was one of the reasons for the laws to be given..... to show us how imperfect we are..... and that we are in need of a savior..... by excusing certain acts, we no longer have a need for a savior, cause we can do it on our own..... so we think....... we are just deceiving ourselves......

So what is the reasoning?

I am kind of new to believing Jesus is the only way but let me explain why it can be so confusing.

The idea is that God (The source of life) has many attributes which are expressed through the different paths (Wicca, Buddhism, Christianity, Etc.). Within these paths to God are similar truths such as:

Christianity:

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them.

Matthew 7:12

..and don't do what you hate...

Gospel of Thomas

Wicca:

An it harm no one, do what thou wilt

The Wiccan Rede

Hinduism:

One should not behave towards others in a way which is disagreeable to oneself

Mencius Vii

Anyway, you get the idea. And, it can be really hard for someone who believes this to wrap their mind around the fact that Jesus is the only way.

Does that help???

We all may take different roads to get on the right and only road to Christ but Christ's road is only true and straight one that leads to salvation and eternal life. To me all these different 'paths' have been set up by satan and his minnons to fool us. A very dear friend of mine believes she is on the right path, she believes that having faith in a church, a sainted woman etc. gives her these promises of salvation though she makes no mention of God nor Christ but since she is a very good person, does good things for everyone she is going to be saved. She seems to have been convinced through a little bit of this reading and a little bit of that and combine them all together you have a wonderful recipe for not only just being a good person but one that will eternal life. I cannot seem to get her to even read a bible says she doesn't really need it. This is what those 'other paths' have done to so many people.

It is hard for anyone to "wrap their mind around" Jesus being the only way to salvation. Especially since we have no "proof" that Christ was raised from the dead. We have salvation only through faith, not by reason. Satan does not willingly let go of those he has convinced, and will use any lie or subterfuge to deceive us into believing that there is more than one way to salvation. And therefor, it makes sense to us to grab onto anything that makes us "feel" secure.

the problem is that there is no path to God.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
