Why dont women cover their heads anymore?

In the bible Paul says that women are supposed to cover their heads. Why dont we do that anymore?

Also it says that every head of a woman is a man in that same chapter. What if a woman isnt married?

I think we have just become to relaxed in our application of the revealed will of God . . . because "we are under grace."

But, like Jesus said, "If a man [woman] loves me, he will keep My words."

I do have a covering for use during prayer and worship in public.

I do not believe the doctrine that it is a woman's hair or her husband.

The implication being that if a woman doesn't believe in wearing a headcovering she doesn't love Jesus?

It doesn't appear to be a commandment that was meant to apply beyond the original audience.

Wearing a headcovering as matter of obedience for all Christian women is simply not presented anywhere in the New Testament. There is nothing wrong with it, but it is not compulsory.

"under grace" also has nothing to do with it. "Under grace" is a term that denotes one's spiritual standing before God. Unsaved people are "under the law" and those who are saved are "under grace."
