The military is an important omission from the list but I think they were just naming the ones that were "Like" not different..having a little fun with it..so I will give them some slack here... I think that Sarah Palin is a great choice and back her 100%. I'm a big fan of the Old Lion, and you are correct....TR was well entrenched by the time he was on the ticket...but ya gotta admit...this was fun. I AM MORE QUALIFIED THEN_______________________. PROBLEM IS WHO REALLY IS QUALIFIED???? what are the requirements to be President to the United States of America? Section 1 of Article 2 of the U.S. Constitution states that a President must: * be a natural born citizen of the united States * be at least 35 years old * have lived in the U.S. for at least 14 years In addition, the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states that a President may not serve more than 2 terms of 4 years each, even if they have only served as President for 2 or more years of one of those terms. no where does it say a person has to have lived in the white house, no where does it say a person has to be an attorney, no where does it say a person has to be in the senate or congress, or even mayor or governor or any other position in the political scene. or even in the military (although, it does seem that the better presidents we have had, have had some military back ground..... mike

Who cares about the "requirements"? What matters is is most qualified? I'm not sure I would hire anyone for any job who just meets the minimum qualifications? When I hired an HR manager last year, I received over 100 resumes, looked at 10 closely and only interviewed 3 people. They ALL met the "requirements" for the position but only 3 met my "expectations" and of those 3, I chose the best. It is no different in hiring a Vice President. And by the way, Sarah is my choice for Vice President because I think she is the most qualified for the position AND the best overall fit for the job. (related to money) moral issues? maybe we need to turn to those that are True Followers of Christ???? mike
