This isn't intended to be a question of "who do you like" or "who is your 'buddy'".

I can honestly say I'm inspired by so many people for different reasons and some people don't "inspire me" necessarily but they are my dearest of friends. Those are the ones I say are "fun" to be with and have a friendship with.

I hope it's okay to share a little about who's actually inspired me spiritually or helped me to grow in my faith.

The main person I know who's done this has been Dr. Luke (Dave). He's been an inspiration to me because he's so on fire for Jesus, he's contagious. It's had a effect on me and stirred up my longings for the Lord.

Another person is Snowdoove, (Patricia) because she endures so much pain and suffering, I can better handle my own when I see how hard she has it. I think I have it rough at times until I see what she's going through.

What makes it hard is she does it without a spouse or family for support. She's an inspiration for me to persevere.

And Yukon (Cindi) because she is one of the most generous, caring and sensitive people I've ever met, so Jesus shines right through her.

There are so many people who are an awesome witness...but these three have just been a powerful influence in my life lately, as I've gone through some tough trials in my personal life.

i think i'd have to say george... he's so totally reliant upon the Lord, working faithfully to build a ministry over in israel, and raising a family there despite all the instability.

next i'd have to say JP1... he is unwavering and unapologetic in his faith.

and God-man, who has the temprament of a saint! even when he chastises someone for getting out of line he does it in a manner that is uplifting. and i know this from experience!

Who has inspired me on Worthy?? There are so many of you.

Saved By Grace. Brother, you were one of the first to talk to me. Your humbleness, and kindness just amazes me. You ALWAYS have a verse handy. And your Biblical knowledge as well as godly wisdom inspires me to read the Word.

GymRose,Travellar and Nebula what can I say? These 3 ladies have changed my life. I have talked to them about things no one knows of. They are open, honest, caring, full of Christ. He seeps out of them and onto me. Their boldness to proclaim the truth. They have inspired me to despite if it is uncomfortable to talk. To talk about my past. By talking about it, not only would it help someone else to heal, but also heal me. Wise. Oh ladies, I thank you. Thank you for not shunning me because I am a teen, for opening your arms to me. For loving me, and for helping me. You ladies have a special place in my heart. thank you for listening to me, and for talking back. For your prayers, and for your laughter. You ladies rock!!!!

Icpguy. My Grampa. Whom I love. Ya'll, he pm's me all the time. No matter what the convo is about he ALWAYS makes me smile. He has like a kajillion names for me too. Bethable, and bethy and some really strange ones LOL. But He always speaks the truth. He prays for me like no ones business. He has inspired me to stop and pray. He is so funny, and yet he always glorifies God in all that he says. Even when in the valley, he continued to look up, to praise God, and to seek Him.

And so many have inspired me in little ways too. Cats, BoldlyPC, Donna, Shazza, Kitkat, LadyC. You ladies are so awesome. You press on despite what is going on. You all are so loving , and warm.

You all have helped me to move on in my life. To see all the good in things. To ask for help. To pray for others. To be encouraging, and yet to know that sometimes it is okay to be sad. To talk. To Trust in The Lord. To ask questions. To read the Bible. To pray for others. So many ways, I can't even describe.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Good idea Cats.

Well I haven't been a member here for too long but the people I've pm'd have always been a pleasure to talk to - most recently my new friend Hippo (Beth).

There is one person who has been there when I need advice, he sheds light on things, and puts the muzzle on me when I need it and that's Wisdom (Nate). His mailbox is always open to me, he's always pleasant even when I'm not, he patiently listens to my rantings and always offers Godly advice in a soft "voice". I wish my temperment would be more like his, more low-key, more gracious - I need to be a little kinder and he has this ability to show me what I'm not but what I'd like to be. Thanks for being my extremely patient friend Nate.

I only named three people because I knew the list would be enormous in terms of people who've done so much to make me feel so very loved.

There are only 3 names I gave but scores of them that have impacted my life in a powerful way.

I mentioned Snowdoove because she's a woman who's going through physical suffering and is alone....I have a hard time suffering (sorry, I'm not a toughy at all), but God's blessed me with a loyal husband.

I really have a heart for widows and orphans and sometimes it seems like poor Snowdoove is both..she's carrying a lot on her without many friends to help her.

My heart always goes out to the widow who quietly depends upon the Lord for her comfort and strength.

Dave (Dr. Luke) - I don't know how old he is...maybe my age or a little younger; I'm not sure. I think of him as a "spiritual big brother" because I look to him for wisdom and also protection. He prays and covers me, like a real brother would.

Honestly, though...so many people have had a powerful impact on my life.

I didn't want to mention everyone and don't want this to be a popularity thing...because I didn't mention all my friends.

I wanted to emphasis who's had mostly a spiritual impact on my life.

I've learned a ton of stuff from Dave; he's really taught me to focus, focus, focus on Jesus...that's been the most powerful thing God has used him for in my life.

I have to mention again, Yukon...has been a big influence because she's a rare gem, who's never even met my husband but did an enormous kindness to him, helping to restore his faith in humanity...She paid him a great honor by sending him the retired flags from the Coast Guard ship....

That's a lot for a man like Bill, who's been so bitter most of his life.

Serotta (Scot) also did something amazing...he prayed and fasted for a day for my husband. He doesn't even know the man and he made that sacrifice.

I deliberately didn't mention everyone....because I'd take up the entire thread if I did...

I have been impacted by so many people...people have been kind to me; patient; forgiving; loving; sympathetic; encouraging; praying; and oh, man...I've had some be downright generous and giving.

Someone even sent me a beautiful picture of Jesus carrying a sick woman in His big, strong arms when she was too weak to walk.

That's the kind of people I'm talking about.

I may not say each person here on this post but I try to say things to them privately via PM or email to let them know how much I value their love and freindship.

Each person is precious and awesome to me and I like everybody...but a few have had a profound effect on either myself or my husband's life.

Thanks to everyone who's been my friend and brother/sister...you're the "normal" family I never had (LOL!).

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
