I dont know, what does it mean?Obama may be the man who sets the stage for the antichrist or... as no one really has proof of what country he's from, it's possible he could be the antichrist. The world has NEVER ran after any man like they are Obama. He has the world bowing to him, he has the charm to woo the world into believing he'll give them peace and prosperity. He has global backing and co-operation like no other president in past history.

You're right my friend, let us keep our eyes on Jesus Christ. We already know WHO WINS.

I sincerely hope that you were also kidding about Jesus being your idol. The Historical Jesus prayer to His Father.

As far as Obama is concerned, he is considered by the Muslims starting with Louis Farrakahn, the Muslim Messiah. There is also an old Muslim Prophecy that a black man would rise to power in the West and would command the greatest army this earth has ever seen and would be their friend.

He is not a christian unless someone states that preaching to hate someone is a christian thing to do.

Many people, including Theologians, think that he could be the Anti-Christ. The one that makes the 7 Year Peace Treaty with Israel. Israel will accept anyone being their Messiah - Jew or gentile, but will renounce him when he makes the claim that he is god.

Hi Yocav,

Jesus is the God who I pray to. But anyway this is not a thread about the Trinity so best to leave that one alone for now!

Anyway this Obama mania is bizarre. I have not in recent memory seen someone who the press loves so much; all deficits are simply not mentioned or swept under the rug.

On some things I think he will be good, very good. On others I radically disagree with him. One of the first things he is going to do in his first week in office is allow my tax dollars to fund abortion internationally by rescinding the rule that Bush put into effect preventing this travesty.

I don't know if he is a Christian or not, I usually take people at their word on that unless I personally know them. Given his stand on abortion I would however say his doctrine is not in line with scripture or any Christian thought I have ever seen with the exception of some of the liberal whack jobs and heretics now infesting Protestant Christianity.

I think you can be a bad Christian and a good president, just like you can be a total pagan and a good CEO, look at Bil Gates. So Obama might do good things and be very effective.

It makes me want to puke.

I've been seeking the Lord on how to pray...and today the only prayer I could find that made my heart feel better was, "Lord, bring down the idol!"

Well I am happy for the accomplishment in American History. I believe that it should be celebrated, just not idolized. I

believe that it is kind of strange how the entire world is looking to this man for hope and for help.

I've heard persons in my country state that they are looking to this man to unite the world.

Other persons are looking to him as a source of hope and to bring about change.

All in all, there is nothing wrong with celebrating the history, but...I must say the spirit that is surfacing is not good.

We need to get back to God and love him. Because if we keep this up, sad to say the U.S. will take another hit and even

the world.

Do you guys realize how much focus is being pointed towards this man? Some people really look up to him as the Messiah of sorts. Its incredible. Absolultely amazing how so many people are idolizing a man who (first of is a man) hasn't even done anything in office yet! I'm just so fed up with hearing all about him. I'm not upset, but I just think they are all so silly for paying so much attention to this man and giving him such a high ego that will probably ruin him if he's not careful? Obama this Obama that. Lay off on him already!

I think it also important to mention. I'm neither for or against obama so please dont turn this into a political thread of why his plan for the nation is bad. There already enough topics about them.. but I just wanted to express my frustration about how so many people are idolizing him. The world would be much more better served focusing on LOVE. And the perfecting of GOD's Love !!

C'mon....this is a historic moment and we should let his supporters enjoy it while they can.

A huge milestone has been achieved by having the first (truly) African-American elected and we should expect that many in the black community would celebrate and make Obama the object of their adoration for being the one who did it. To me, it's interesting that so many had used the excuse of color to avoid success when there is nothing stopping anyone in America who is willing to work hard. The first black man that tried running for President won it pretty easily...

So lets pray that Obama will fear the Lord and receive this like Solomon who said:

Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number. So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?

The funniest thing I heard today was from a British woman who had become an American citizen 4 years ago and said she was "proud to be an American" because all the people in England thought we were all racists and Obama didn't have a chance.

I'm waiting now to see the first black Prime Minister of England. Or even the first jewish one!?

I understand what you mean, way too much, indeed. America need to return to God. It does sound like the world is looking up to him. Scary to think. A heart-braking sight is a sheep herd being led by a ram to a slaughter house... scary to look at this, how the whole world is following Obama so blindly.

Before anyone says it, I am inclined not to proclaim him Anti-Christ or say anything that might imply that. But the ammount of hype around him, people looking up to him... scary to think what it will be like when the Anti-Christ does show.

But its not ours to judge him or label him anything. We are to pray and do our part. More than ever we need to get back to Matthew 28:18-20 and Acts 1:8 , not discuss Obama.

I think there is too much focus on his race.

It is such a major issue it makes one think is this the only reason he was voted in....

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
