  1. They told us yesterday that it is a rule for fire safety that such things must be 10 feet away from and out of the apartments. so it cant go inside. The chapel we go to, we dont know them well, not enough to really take a risk of trusting them. My family hates me, so no, they wont let me. They already don't want me around them and cursed at me on Christmas, since then they don't want anything to do with me. My grandmother would let me if it was her old house, but now her daughter is taking care of her a little bit, so its not her property, and her daughter's husband hates me and got upset before about the moped there, so that is out of question. Any friends who i would trust live too far away. I intend mainly to use this for work anyways. So no... no one is around. Anyone at the least also lives in apartments. Now, we have just chained it to a light pole, waiting to see if they complain again. I cannot believe apartments run by government dont prepare for this stuff or care. Right now, all there is just a bike chain saying level 4 security. But i know i need to get more things like an alarm and disk lock. still, i can try to either break the rules, keep thinking of crazy ideas, or just accept leaving it wide open and hope God will keep thieves away.
  2. Some just need to hear the right words at the right time in their life to turn to Christ, which could be at pretty much any age of being able to understand things. The youngest I recall people being saved was 5 years old. But for me, one of these tracts/tracks would never work to turn me to Christ unless that was His plan to bring me to Him. I had to experience suffering to come to Christ. I know some who gave their life to the Lord when they saw a tract for the first time, but some never would be encouraged or motivated by them. Overall, i seem them as a waste to me, but i know the Lord saves people in many different ways for the same purpose, by His grace, and such. It's not so much of the object or things we use, it's what the Lord wants to do.
  3. wonder why this didnt tell me you replied... well, no. Surely, if they dont want me simply putting it on dirt or concrete outside, then they dont want me bringing it on their carpets and tile floors and such. But... i did bring it in that night anyways until i at least got something. i am still stupidly paranoid about it now, i got a chain, i still want to get more security for it, but i chained it in front of our front door to a metal pole that holds up the cover over the door. But the chain alone is a common defense that good thieves know how to get out of the way easily. But at least it is something... i could still bring it in, but that would be an annoying struggle each day and even a risk of them kicking us out i think... so i am trying to tell myself it is in God's, but some people say that isn't how God works, some say it is. It's confusing what to believe in these situations to me.
  4. Very bold and straightforward questions to answer the question; I think some people really just want someone to be with them or love them, that they feel the way to get someone like that is to impress them, make them happy, make them personally like you- and if you have already been you, then how can you put on an act for awhile so they will be with you. Some people just stop right there and pursue that without thinking about how fake the relationship is or how it will result and that you realize, it's like being an actor; are actors always in TRUE love in every romantic movie they play in? No, because its an act to make it look that way. Even after real touching, kissing, saying sweet things, ...intercourse or whatever, it's still an act and the love isn't real. We need to recognize this in reality as well. We need to just let people come and want us, love us by their own free choice. Just let God chooses he wants us and wants to love us, despite if we want to be loved or not or how good or bad we are.
  5. I will be getting a tattoo telling the world to cremate my body if i am dead. Whether they listen or not, i wont care because i will be with the Lord. That is, if i can do that before i die. If not, my wife knows i want this flesh to burn.
  6. Yes, to "ignore." but to "avoid," as in, staying away from them ever even coming to your thoughts- that won't happen. But overcoming those thoughts, that is when you ignore them or say NO to them. Avoiding them is as if they never even crossed your mind as if you are almost or completely immune to ever thinking to do something sinful.
  7. i don't believe you can ever avoid sinful thoughts, because um... it's in your nature of your flesh that you are made with and connected to whether you like it or not until you leave this world. That being said, you can discipline yourself to not give into those sinful thoughts, basically temptations, and instead remember God's word and obey his commandments as Jesus did when Satan wanted to tempt him. He stood on scripture and overcame the thoughts of needing bread and such while he was suffering in the desert.
  8. The only love like that would mean we have salvation and the Holy Spirit lives in us. A sinner doesnt love like that unless the Lord loves through them. Our love is sinful and selfish without Christ.
  9. Though salvation is spiritual for us, I'd like to put it simply into a physical perspective. You are on your way to heaven, but first you must go through a security check. The angels like security guards will scan you for salvation, as if you are approved to enter and live there. Salvation is the only thing that keeps you approved. Without it, you are too filthy and bad in God's eyes, that he will only accept clean and good people. Well, this salvation that makes you acceptable, is only acceptable because it shows perfection. It makes you look 100% perfect and nothing wrong about you to God. When you hear about the blood of Christ, it's like getting a permanent tattoo head to toe, you are fully covered by his blood, and it's a blood that doesn't wash off, just like a tattoo. Salvation is offered to you freely by what Christ did for us all on the cross. It's not literally physical blood that covers you. Basically, you were offered to receive a free gift when you could sign up for it, you just had to accept and sign, then you would be given the gift, and when it comes time when Heaven is ready for you, then you will cover yourself with the product then pass through security and they will let you in. But those who didnt care, who didnt want anything to do with it, or those who didnt believe Heaven would be real or a big deal or the creator of it, or whatever reason, they never received it, it is too late to receive it, so they are going to be forced to be left elsewhere... and they will all regret not accepting the free gift of Salvation. So, more like Salvation is your badge to get through the gate to be allowed into work. If there's no badge, you can't go to work, left broke, homeless, no food and no water, resulting in death. If you have the badge, then you will be accepted and pass, and you will be where you always wanted to be. But pass into where? Work? heh no. But Heaven. But this Heaven is more like, larger than all the universes put together where all the people of God, Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit will live together in love as a family. After all, God made Heaven. It is where the Lord has chosen to dwell. Someday, he is going to make a new heaven and a new earth. But there was always one salvation and there will only always be one salvation. Because when Jesus said it was finished, we didn't need another and we never will. This bypass is greater than anything else we can have from the Lord. What is salvation overall though? Understand, when we come before him, having salvation is like God looking at his own son Jesus; holy, perfect, like a lamb with blemish, there's nothing wrong with us but on the other hand everything is made perfect in us by the blood of Jesus Christ, by salvation. That's why people really need to understand works isn't what will get you through security or get you into Heaven or meet the Lord's standards. The Lord requires perfection to be with him. You need 100%. We have greatly failed that, and if we have ever failed, then we missed something, therefor, that wouldn't be 100%. If works did save us and get us through to Heaven, then exactly what would be the point for Christ to die for us? What glory would there be for the Lord if we did the work to qualify ourselves to be saved? There would be nothing then.
  10. I wasn't scared of anything when i stopped dating. I got sick and tired, in an angry way, of putting up with all the crap trying to find a woman to love doing it the world's way. After years and years of trying it their way, I'm always treated like crap and screwed over and losing friends and family making them my enemies just because i dated someone. Such as, if i never dated this one girl, we just stayed friends, then that time i moved in with my best friend and he brought her in while i was dating her and they had sex with me in the house- well, if she wasn't dating me, it wouldnt have become my problem and i still could have been a friend to both of them. But now since that day years ago, it ruined my friendship with him and he forces her not to talk to me, so i lost 2 buddies for nothing. I lost someone i spent the majority of my childhood with, and lost it over him wanting to marry her while i dated her. Sure, not much of a friend to do that, but basically he finds that his biggest dream. You'd betray me to have eternal life, wouldnt you? Well, if i hadn't dated anyone of the past girls who were my friends, but then because of stupid stuff, breaking up either bothered them or me, they didnt ever want to be friends- they would still be my friends if it wasn't for dating. My wife wouldnt be uncomfortable with me talking to my exs just to say hello or tell them i will pray for them if i didnt date them years ago. I will tell you this, nothing much more could make your spouse happy, then them finding out when they marry you- they are your first and only one you kiss, they are the only one you make love to, they are the only one you've ever felt romance for, etc. That doesn't have to be a fantasy, it can be real. Many of us usually say somewhere we wish we wouldve saved ourselves for this person we married. At least i saved my virginity for my wife. It makes her very very happy. She still wishes i would of never dated other girls or kissed some. Dating ruined that for her.
  11. No i wouldnt suggest you get married based on friendship. I believe you can be married without even being friends. The point is, you need to find someone who will love you through it all no matter what, and their goal is the same as yours in life- to live for the Lord, the same God and the same Savior. All that personal crap doesn't matter so much though it makes a difference. Some people have had great marriages they were forced into not even knowing each other at all. What made it successful is they would always love each other. But i began to love my wife before she was my wife just a few weeks after i met her. I tried to run from marrying her at that point, but it was the will of God knowing we were to marry. She knew it too. So it was fast, and the story of it was really hard, with much fighting involved with the entire church, the pastor, families, each other- just to be together within that very month i met her. So we knew we would marry at a very early point before barely getting to know each other. Being married and living together is when you REALLY get to know the person you married. and no, this isn't about being scared- it's about being wise and realizing the useless stupidity of doing things the world's way.
  12. exactly, so dont do it. just being nice to people and talking and giving and receiving things, isn't risky if you know what you're doing. After that, you can marry. Just be friends then marry. no need for all those lovey dovey touchings, feelings, fake i love you's forever, etc. That's all tradition and cheap stuff girls tried to use on me and didnt work. Those "feelings" and "actions" dont mean you love someone guaranteed, but since those feelings seem so real, we easily become gullible to think that person loves us. The funny catch in dating is, when even usually the first issue comes up or a big one at least, they ditch you or cheat for revenge or being careless about you anymore and it leaves you hurt because you had the idea "they were YOURS." But that is a way to find out the hard way to marry someone or not. The risky, complicated, easily deceiving, common way that both Christians and non Christians use. Tell me, how useful have things turned out for that dating stuff in the last 100 years? Ooh, not too well... people get the idea thats just life and people, but there are ways to protect yourself. Dating is putting yourself out there to be crushed and heartbroken and left with bad memories or regrets.
  13. Yeah, but actually, more people are fake in person in dating than online, though it COULD be easier, it is less common. Online people going for dates are either trying to trick desperate people into a relationship for sex, or either they are unconfident people who are shy to approach people and arent good with social skills, so they are more comfortable meeting online, or its just fun, or people in their area dont seem to be their type, etc. but i have dated a lot online for years, its much more common in person to trick people. Online relationships are just words, pictures and screens or phone and letters. In person, is all that and unlimited other options to trick them. online relationships should take more time to be careful. It's a good way to test people if they will truly commit or give up because you wont give them what they want or they get bored with you. But in person, the fun never ends! so its very deceiving to think they like you or truly love you because you are so excited about your new relationship. So i get your perspective, yes it is EASIER, but not more common.
  14. That is all nice and dandy- BUT if this person is going to do all this, then date, then marry, then after their honeymoon the person starts to stink and not wash, stops helping out around the house or carrying the bags and running errands, stops always being happy but rather very depressed or complaining all the time, the person they dated is going to go "Um, what the heck is going on with you? You werent the person i remember dating." Then they go "Oh, yeah, because that was all an act to make you want me. Now that i have you, all that hard work being someone i am not is finally over, i can go back to the original me and i expect you to love me for being that because you married and dated me!" Yeah, average dating, average marriage, resulting in divorce with this strategy. If they dont keep up the cleanliness, helping out, etc- then its going to deeply bother the other person who was tricked into thinking they were normally that way.
  15. The better question I believe everyone should be asking is "Who can I find to marry me?" first of all, its not true you have to date to find the person to know who to marry. I PROVED that with my marriage. Never dated them, yet we got to know each other and got married. Reality. Next, in this generation, it's what men tend to use to manipulate women all the time to want to win them, not to love them. Whether its just to not be lonely, want sex, excited to be with anyone, kissing, dates are fun, etc. Most of the time dating anyone who even thinks they love you, it is for themselves, not you. But girls have an awful difficult time realizing that. But women do this too. You can never say you were cheated on or felt heart broken if you never dated, it could only be for your marriage. Dating is a terrible idea for many reasons. There were years i did it, they sucked and costed me many problems for the rest of my life. Whenever i stopped dating, i could just make friends, and marry one of them as my wife. Think about it, dating should be for marriage, but for most people, them being honest will tell you they just like to date, they dont want to marry yet. The idea SHOULD be, if you're going to date, that you need to date when you ARE READY to get married. You're financially set, you're independent, you're mature, you're prepared to have your sex life under control, you're still planning to live your marriage for God, and your main intention is to marry the person to love them and make them happy and help them, not them love you and make you happy. Overall, i just advise you not to date, get to know everyone, you'll eventually click with that person, be sure it's the one God has planned for you, and marry when the time is right. That simple. Even asking such a question "how do i get someone to date me? want me? love me? etc." Are you asking if we can tell you how to act, live, cover up, dress, etc. In other words, we need to tell you how to be someone else that you are not, we need to tell you to do things you wouldnt normally do, so that someone else can THINK you're different, that way they will want to be with you? Yeah, that's a mans average strategy of winning a woman, being a man they arent acting like someone else to make her like him. then as they marry, he stops all that because he won the prize, no more need to act anymore. Suddenly, the woman is shocked he changed and wishes he could go back to his old self before they married. Yet she doesnt get, that never was the real him, that was him getting advice how to trick you to want to be with him because he wasnt just being himself and thats why you liked him. This is, no offense, but a very stupid question because you miss the whole point of what dating and marriage should be.
  16. my best friend i knew for 12 years at that time, never had problems, he claimed to be saved since he was 8. when he became 21 and we were room mates, one day he walked in the house with my girlfriend and had intercourse. in the next room while i was there. And she told me all the time she wanted to marry me, heh. Well, that is much different than being married, but it goes to show, even someone who was a great best buddy you never had problems with in over a decade, some dudes with not give a crap about you anymore and do the ungodly thing to be with your spouse or lover. More people throw away friends for love and sex more often than throwing away lovers for friends. Now, marriage counseling is an option, but it would not work for my wife and I, what helped us was being honest and open, hiding no secrets. I want her love and she wants mine, so we understood that we always need to talk. Most marriage counselors would likely say the same from ones i have met. First, talk about it, confront them calmly and wisely. Obviously to some extent, this is basically worrying you cannot trust your spouse. Worrying about cheating always shows you dont trust your partner. I would let my wife know when that happens and warn her she needs to build more trust with me before it gets too hard to ever trust her with certain things. At least let it be known you are just wanting to trust her, but you're being cautious in your situation for how things have been going. I'm a bit strict, and straightforward, so i would tell her i want to listen to them talk or read what they talk about when they do when the other guy doesnt know i am around. But in reality, i dont read what my wife says to people, i dont need to hear her talking to guys, because i trust her. I know some men NEVER will let their wives talk to any of the opposite gender (yet them letting them with lesbians is still bad to me. You cant really avoid sexual issues just because you stay away from opposite gender, to me, that just encourages young people to want to be homosexuals or transgenders if you force them to only be with the same gender all the time). They dont trust other people or their wife, they wont take any risks. That's sad to me but understandable. But mainly, i would suggest if your hours EVER make it where you are losing TOO MUCH time with your spouse and/or kids, then stop working so many hours, or sacrifice sleep, or sacrifice even a meal, or at least get a new job soon as you can because your family is your top priority after God. I spend every hour i am not at work with my wife or with the kids, or at least in the same room. If i play games, she plays with me, if she is having trouble with the baby, i help out, if i am hungry she will eat with me or next to me, if i watch a video she will watch it with me, if i go somewhere, she will usually go with me more than half the time, etc. If i am on the phone, then i let her know who i am going to call, if i saw my ex gf or something in public, i will tell my wife i saw her and what we said, etc. So because we do pretty much everything together and tell each other almost everything, maybe that is why we never have these cheating feelings just because we talk to opposite genders. I let my wife read when she wants, but i am curious if she ever does it because she thinks i am cheating. If she is, i will gladly prove to her i am not. There will always be issues in marriage because neither is perfect. So things always should be handled and discussed how to handle them or trying to make progress for a better marriage, rather than ignoring it or accepting the problems and letting them turn out to be destruction later. Pray, confront, talk, be honest and straightforward but not a meanie about it, stand on God's word and his understanding, not yours, don't assume and jump to conclusions until there is proof, at least hold back the anxiety and freaking out until you actually see them cheating if they are. That is my advice to you. Because of us doing this, i have never seen anyone on this earth have a better marriage than i do with my wife. Honestly.
  17. I have no biblical proof, but i believe in heaven we will be given full understanding of everything, that the Lord would want us to fully comprehend all things and understand them. As many are with him now, i believe they can know what we are all doing here on earth. But it is not their place to interfere and communicate with us or us with them. In a time perspective, i believe she's too busy praising the Lord to focus on you talking to her. No offense if that sounds negative. But i believe she knows what you're going through, but it wouldnt bother her for there are no tears or problems or bad feelings when we leave this world to be with the Lord. Again, these are just thoughts, not proof.
  18. I am sure i know ALL about your feelings. It's like I'm listening to myself in the mirror just 3 years ago when i was in my early 20s. If you REALLY want to talk about this, I'm very confident i will understand you. Just PM me if you want to talk personally. If not i will just say this. First, you say you dont know who you are. Likely, you arent even being your true self, that people arent seeing the real you. So they probably are not showing you love because they don't know the real you. how could we love God if we didnt even hear that he exists? How would we know of is love if he didnt show it to us? Still, i love you. I don't have to know you personally to love you. God loves everyone whether they have a relationship with him or not. There is a love that isnt based on how good someone is. But it is a choice to love people no matter what. So you are loved at least by the Lord through me, and i am sure others here and elsewhere. you probably just havent spoke with them yet.
  19. It's much different to say what to do exactly without the specifics, such as, is he a Christian? Does he hate this? I've done it before, my wife and i have had issues with this in the past, but because we both are Christians, it has been easier with her help in my life to overcome it. But i see you cannot talk to a spouse the same way as Christian couples that you can convince them or be very encouraging in a godly perspective if they dont know God and they dont have goals to live for God and they feel no shame for sin or dont understand sin. While my flesh likes porn, my spirit hates it. I became deeply depressed, even angry at myself enough to literally chop off my private parts because of the guilt- so when that verse talks about it is better to pluck your eye out, well, i felt more confident if i get rid of my manly parts that would be much more effective that even if i imagine porn, i cant get the feeling or care about it anymore. I just bled then but still have my parts. SO- the point is, some of us are guilty of going back to porn, but trust, many godly men dont want to continue doing it, it is a battle against our flesh, but some men live for that stuff and only see it positively. So, to give better advice, it depends on how to handle him for why he is doing it, how he reacts when you confront him about it, if he has a godly perspective, if you can even get an answer if he thinks anyone is wrong for watching porn, etc. If he has a godly perspective and does feel bad about it somewhere, even a little, that can help.
  20. I'm in a very similar situation to this right now, and i was in this before, but i will make it more like it was before in my past where i never got a clear answer. I am living in the cheapest place i can find. nowhere even across the state is there anything cheaper. We only have a moped-motorcycle to get me to work. I've had my ones in the past stolen on camera, in a public place with lights and chained up,and it took them 30 minutes to steal it and i was at work on the other side of the wall unaware the whole time they were stealing it until it was time to leave work 1 hour later. Now, we live in apartments, cheap ones with strict rules. They say i cannot put my bike/moped-motorcycle anywhere except in a wide open parking space. I cannot chain it up to anything. I had a moped previously here and it was stolen within a month of moving here. So i know they know the spot and would likely check back to see if i replaced it with another to steal it. Anything anyways cannot fully keep it from being stolen if i had the best of the best products for protection and theft probs. we have a huge window we are always next to that goes to the back of the house. There are just trees for a long distance behind there and even a street light right above it. We keep it wide open all day. The street light there lights up our house through the back windows so we dont always have to use lights in the house. So its not like its completely secluded. But i think its a great idea simply to not let the theif even notice i have a vehicle and keep it hidden and covered and chained up and with an alarm. But my landlord here tells me i cant put it in the back. so i have gotten different perspectives what to do from family christians, friend christians, pastors even, and yet many disagree with each other in even opposite directions but with understandable perspectives. If i lose the vehicle, i don't have a way to work or that i can afford, so i lose job and we go homeless with my family and baby and NO we dont have friends or family that will help us at all- in fact, they have left us homeless for years, time and time again. So it will be on the streets for me and homeless shelter for my wife and babies. But then you have it that if i lose the house but keep the job, i may go homeless anyways. but then some say God will still find me a place. Some say God will protect the motorcycle because he wouldnt want us to suffer. Some say, screw the landlord, it is a sin NOT to provide for your family. You already saw they will steal it! They will do it again and you wont have a way to work and you will be putting your family in danger of being homeless because you simply didnt hide it. Your landlord isnt being fair in your situation. Some say, it is sinful and wrong, or even just a bad idea to go against what your landlord says. You cant guarantee the thief will come, but you can be sure one day the landlord will find out somehow you disobeyed the rules and they will evict you and you may have even more trouble finding a place or keeping your job. It would be better to lose the job and vehicle and house anyways rather than to sin. Some say, you have to do what you have to do- even if you have to drive a car illegally in order to feed your family and work, the laws arent fair or right in this country, God wants you to work and provide for your family. Of course, some people just say keep praying about it- then the vehicle ends up stolen before i get a clear answer from God. Some say, this is a cruel world, if it happens it happens, just do the best you can without sinning. (basically, obey the landlord and hope for the best) And even some say, if it happens, it is part of God's plan. If he wants you to keep it, he will protect it. If he wants you to lose it, he will let it get stolen. What should i do? What do you think God tells us in a situation like this? Do you have any similar experiences? Any advice for me?
  21. When you say "through faith" do you believe that is faith we choose to have and it comes from us or from God, or that God must give it to us and make us have faith or else we cannot have faith in Jesus Christ?
  22. I know. I'm just joking around because you spelled Christian as "Christain." There is no such thing as "Christain." You keep doing that, and I don't think you're doing that by accident. I don't mean to pick on you, I just would assume we would all want to be correct, especially when referring to the names of God and His chosen people. I don't think we would want to keep spelling anyone's name or title incorrectly in public and not try to learn how to correctly spell their name.
  23. So, does that just go for Israel or all of us? I believe God wants everyone to live for the same purpose the same basic way. To do what is right, what is good, what is loving, what is like what Christ would do. I don't think it just goes for Israel. We should all forgive, always. Because it would be unfair not to forgive others for everything if God has forgiven us for everything. But then this issue in either direction starts a debate or argument about salvation all the time. Then you run into a bunch of Pentecostals believing they will lose salvation, other people say no matter what you do or don't do, you will be saved- so what if we have forgiven others, but suddenly near the last minute of your life, someone is fighting with you in the car out of nowhere, you have not forgiven them, then suddenly you get into a wreck and die. Do you go to Hell because you had not forgiven them before you died? Do you lose salvation? Or if this is disobey, God wouldn't be pleased with it, but he won't remove salvation from your life? I don't ask this because i want to know, because i do know, but i want everyone here to see your response.
