If you didn't make the choice, then who made it for you? Or do you think it is possible that every element in existence from the quantum level to the macro level and all the structures they combine to make, as well as their interaction with matter and energy and each other is all orchestrated and predestined? How about another perspective; do you know anyone well enough to know the choices they will make about a particular topic? Knowing in advance what someone will choose doesn't take away their free will. Their choices may still come as a surprise to those who do not know them as well as you. Yes? No? Cheers!!!

Not so with the Spotlight version Seigi91. In this version past, present, and future all exist at once, but only a specific "now", this point of experience in the "Spotlight" seems real. This describes God's Omnipotence, Omniscience, and Omnipresence. This allows for perpetual change and free will at at our "level" in perfect compatibility with God's Attributes and Will. I would think an unbeliever who has faith in Science might be able to accept this Theory as well. JMHO. CheersSiegi91!!!

What parent who loves their children would expose them to this evil? Such parents should be registered as child abuse offenders. How can a parent that accepts this not know they are consigning their children to sin and therefore death? Even for unbelievers, with all deviants that feed on children in today's world, have to at least consider they are butting bulls eyes on their children's backs. Better they should sacrifice their children on an alter to God than on an alter to evil that only seeks to consume their innocence. At least then those children will have eternal life in the ultimate love. How can a child grow to maturity with these kinds of "lessons" being perpetrated on them at such an early age? Forgive me, but the rage these kinds of stupid things instills in me is unbearable. They don't even have the ability yet to choose whether they want this kind of exposure, instead trusting in and following the brain dead parents wishes and the insane policy of authority figures in the governmental and private sectors that think such endeavors are rewarding. Lord, we need you back ASAP!

It certainly isn't always easy, but what that is worthwhile is? Perhaps when you are being tested like this, focusing on the two greatest commandments (signature below) may keep things in perspective. JMHO. Cheers!!!

This can be a tough subject, but is it not better to embrace dis-ease and thank God for it? We all die, so in that sense what matter from what "cause"? The cause is always sin. As believers, even though our flesh dies, we are already eternally healed!!! Yes, the heart aches for those we see pass on from the physical manifestations that cause death. Look at that tragedy were 9 people drowned from one family. Imagine the grief survivors of that family are going through. If those who perished were not saved, then grief is justified, but for those who are saved, there is no grief in being with our Lord. Either way our suffering and death to this world serve God's purpose and for that we should be grateful. Christ did no less for each of us. Hope I made this clear so no one thinks I'm being insensitive to the suffering of others. Pray for all who are ill, whether in body or mind, whether believer or unbeliever. It is just that in all we do and all we experience we serve His will and greater purpose. Can there be more comfort than that? No.

There is a perfect place to do it too! Heaven. As for being in the world, scripture is clear on both how and why we must endure it. We are not here by our own will, but by and for God's will. What matter who is President? Name one President who did not sin, and especially lie? Does not God appoint our leaders? All this bickering about who does what and who is better is none sense. All politicians and lawyers and judges are double minded. They serve God's purposes, not our own preferences. Object all you want, but ultimately you are objecting to God's will by professing your own. And to what end? These back and forth debates about politicians, government, and current national policy go on and on until a moderator has to shut them down! What is the point? Cheers!

What if you prayed to Jesus for over a decade for your own sanity, because you were terribly mentally unwell, and you grew more insane. Then there is something wrong with how you pray. What if you had talked to hundreds of Christians, and attended church after church looking for healing, but healing never came. Then it appears you are seeking God on your terms, not His. True believers are ALL healed in the next life. Realize Satan talks with Christians too, and is a regular church attender. You should be honest with your self about whose will has the priority in your life, God's or yours? What if you read the Bible back to front looking for answers to why your so messed up, but most of the words that come out condemn you to a living hell. If your interpretation of the Bible condemns you to eternal hell, them you should take that as an urgent message to seek God's Grace and Forgiveness through Jesus Christ immediately. Yes this is my story, my experience, and the reason I had to leave Christianity behind. If I didn't leave it behind I doubt I'd be here talking to you. There are millions of such stories Shapes. That tells you you are not alone. I'm guessing you will take this reply to your message as well as many of the others you received as rejection and condemnation of your confession. You would wrong to do think this however. We each here are making the points we do to get your attention, not to leave this forum. If you have lost your way in faith, or perhaps never really had it to begin with, which your statements seem to indicate, then NOW is the time to set that right. Scripture is explicitly clear about the steps to take. Are you willing? Do you truly seek God and Salvation through Christ? It only requires a simple yes or no Shapes, no lengthy explanation. I came across this site recently and was delighted to see an organization dedicated to advancing Intelligent Design scientifically. While such an effort must rely on the participant's own understanding of this world and the laws of nature as ordained by God it never the less seems a worthwhile resource for defending the faith against those "intellectually" in denial of God's Glory and Truth. Realize God is control of all that happens. His wisdom is infinitely greater than our own, so when we see things we feel we must object to, those things happen because they serve God's plan to bring evil to an end. Yes, it is difficult to see much of what happens in this world, but remember, at the present time Satan rules the world.
