I would say that on my mothers side they might as well be non existent. She will not speak to us at all even though we have tried. To her we do not exist anymore. On my fathers side I have two grandmothers. Although we are not very welcome there because we are Christians and are conservative. I have an adopted grandmother who has no grand-kids as of yet and her son does not live near by. She acts as my grandmother.

I have a suspicion that most of us probably post the same way we speak. As that would make sense. I know that I do to some extent post the same way that I speak.

Why not see a christian counselor? Someone who is truly a christian not someone who will just pray with you if you ask, but someone who is a counselor who talks to you from a christian perspective? Just my thoughts. God bless you Rivers and I will be praying for you and your family.
