  1. The sins of the father are not passed upon the son. It is in the Bible, a basic Jewish Belief. Eze_18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
  2. The 2 witnesses are the OT and the NT, these are what tormented those upon the Earth. That they lie dead in the streets, is that no one is following the word of either.
  3. Just for my information can you post the scripture that says you can not sleep with a prostitute?
  4. Perhaps you should read the Bible verses. Sleeping with a prostitute was not the sin, Posing as and prostituting herself was not the sin. The sin was Judah did not marry her off to one of her dead husbands brothers. She was not a prostitute, and had the right to married to one of the brothers of her Husband, and technically Judah himself. Judah married her, and Judah repented of his sin, of withholding marriage to one of the brothers. It is in the Bible, you would think so many sins, but the Bible only records the one sin of Judah.
  5. What was the sin in the story? So many things you might think are a sin, but in the story the sin was Judah's refusal to allow his dead sons wife to marry her husbands brother.
  6. Did Jesus Sin? If you were without sin would you be saved? The answer is yes. So not sinning can save you. The answer is Yes not sinning can save you. Have you sinned? is a different question. Not sinning will diffidently save you.
  7. So why does not one account of the 3 that Paul gives us agree with another?
  8. This makes me think of Judah, who on the way home from a business trip visited what he thought was a prostitute, it turns out it was his dead sons wife, she became pregnant, and as head of the household was going to have her put to death, when she says you are the father. Read around here for the story. Gen 38:15 When Judah saw her, he thought her to be an harlot; because she had covered her face.
  9. Why is Jesus teaching to come to the Father? I thought we are to come to Jesus.
  10. What do any of your LENGTHY Cut a Paste Post have to do with the topic? Are you saying you are without Comment and must rely on Others? What do YOU have to say about the topic? I also noticed you did not site the Bible, for this Sermon you have given about a subject not the Subject of the Thread. Do these Supersede the Bible? I use the Bible, when discussing the Bible, you use cut and paste from? Rev_2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. Rev_20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Rev_20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Rev_21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
  11. Who is it that comes to the LORD and says I am Ignorant? Is it the Pharisee? Luk 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. Luk 18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. Or the publican? Luk 18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. Luk 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
  12. Yes I agree with these Scriptures. are you not the one that says there is no second death, but eternal life in hell (which is no more)? Did you not say Heaven can not Exist without Hell? So in Genesis when God created the Heavens and the Earth, he must have also created Hell, correct? This is before the serpent was cursed.
  13. Not only that someone said Heaven can not exist without Hell, that equates to God can not exist without the devil, so if you destroy the devil you destroy God, very confused thinking. So in essence they are saying God created the devil, in so doing God created his not only His equal but something on which the very existence of God relies. It is very confused doctrine. They are saying Good can not exist without evil, yet Genesis has and it was very Good. Gen_1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
  14. Not only death but hell itself is also thrown into the Lake of Fire, Rev_20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
